Relax Plans, he said it was weak evidence. It is certainly interesting that it has them when none of the others do. |

I was thinking that before I posted it, but disregarded it since it was such a weak argument. It's hard to find anything to say at this point that hasn't already been said though. |

By that chart, the jolteon could swap with the leafeon and it could also be rock =P I don't think gamefreak really considered it in the slightest with their decision of next eevee. Edit: Chart was swapped with a slightly different one alluding it to a diagram posted by gamefreak, not a fanmade one. Edited by Anonyman, Feb 16 2013, 01:39 PM.

Both are the same diagram posted up on the official XY site, but the first had drawing on it. Edited by Geckilian, Feb 16 2013, 02:22 PM.

The first one with the drawing made me think it was fanmade, hence my skeptisism. Still think it was coincidence, but at least it has a little bit more logic now. And my bet would be shiny stone or Beauty if they brought back contests for some reason. Maybe friendliness but they would probably redo esp/umb if so methinks. |

It's tradition to have all new evolutions to existing Pokemon be caused by mechanics that are impossible in previous generations. There was an exception or two, I think Yanma could learn Ancientpower before, but whatever. The evolution will either be a new stone, evolving near a location not present in previous generations, or an entirely new mechanic. |

yeah... that chart... since Sylveon's most probable type is normal according to its name, could it be that... oh gosh... it's opposite jolteon because they're arranged symmetrically and there's eight of them? also, a more interesting thing to note about that arrangement is that the gen I eeveelutions are on the top row, the gen II are paired opposite each other on the middle row, the gen IV opposite each other below them, and the gen VI is slightly offset below them. Yeah, I still stand by it being a normal type. Though I do completely get people selectively looking at weaker evidence because they'd rather it not be the boring normal type. |

this just bolsters my normal/flying theory(though its still not as strong as straight normal) |
