Hello Pokemon Tabletop Adventures community,

Many months ago I was hit with the question: "What could a Pokemon Tabletop RPG be like?" So I started searching and obviously I found the great game that is the subject of your forums. The Pokemon Tabletop Adventures project is a marvel and one I enjoyed reading. Sadly I have played this style of Tabletop RPG too much in the past and I wanted a system with less structure and less complexity. I know it is difficult to find the right balance and your work has gone to great lengths to capture and bridge most of the different Pokemon worlds and variations. I applaud your success in this, bravo!

But finding you forum was only the first stepfor me as I wanted to play a much simpler style of Tabletop RPG with my friends so I adapted an RPG system I've been working on and used in a few different stories/universes I call "The GrumpyEugene Ruleset". I know it is not for everyone and it doesn't cover everything but it allowed me to play a session with no preparation of the scenario.

I welcome you all to investigate my variation "Wild Pokemon Encounters" posted on my tumblr:

Your feedback is welcome. I hope I'm not offending with my OTHER RPG.

Keep up the good work!
Sincerely,
GrumpyEugene
