I don't know if this moment counts as poor form or just weird ingenuity.
Anyway......

So after eradicating the plague, we go track down the plague doctor, and ask him to heal up the rest of our Pokemon who might still be carriers. He said he would be glad to, but it involves us doing a favor for him first.

He said: "First, collect a few stones roughly 3cm in diameter. About 139,377 will do. Then, defeat the troublesome glowing mushroom Pokémon near the well of my stone home. Then, pilfer the lost suitcase of badass heals lost at the peak of Mount Moon. Then you shall bring me the head of Myles, Destoyer of Men. Finally, and most importantly, you shall dance for my enjoyment."

Apparently that's a quote from Borderlands 2. I wouldn't know.

My character freaks out, but it's found out that he was only being serious about the dancing bit. Put on the spot, and forced to do improv, I have no idea how I'm going to have my character dance, so I have her do the first thing that comes to mind...

Spoiler: click to toggle

My only regret is that I forgot that Caramelldansen existed.

I think Waka Laka would have been a good choice as well.

I've got one hot and fresh.

In TrainerXTrainer, I am playing a character named Ethan Jones, a Researcher/Weapon Specialist that wants to be a treasure hunter. He is based heavily off the character of Indiana Jones. (Archaeologist couple aunt and uncle, Indy & Anna Jones, a Sandslash named Sallah, the best damn digger in all of Poke-Egypt, an odd weapon of choice (baseball bat), his outfit, etc, etc.)

Throughout the course of the first day, the madman Jonathan Jacobo, 'Dr. Fox' (played by Rolf_the_Abra), who wants to resurrect prehistoric pokemon and rides an Aerodactyl, has left Jones and his companions on a ship that is about to crash headlong into some rocks, to their near-certain doom, after suggesting that the ships' occupants tear it apart to create rafts to save themselves, far more persuasively than Jones telling them not to, even though the crash may be nearly averted-their fate remains to be seen.

None of this was planned. None of it. Our characters were in no ways linked, we did not discuss anything on character creation, we did not start the game as an intentional protagonist/antagonist couple, and may not be even now due to the nature of the competition we're in. All of this happened organically through our characters' interactions. We have organically and unintentionally created an Indiana Jones movie scene.

> Runs New Mauville in Hoenn Campaign as a 'Dungeon'.
> Takes two sessions for players to finally get to end-boss.
> Said boss is a Raikou.
> Due to boss rules, it has three turns/round.
> Two of those turns are used to exploit the nearby generator to activate its Volt Absorb.
> Speed Boost + Electro Ball = Evil.
> Charge Beam.
> Players finally defeat Raikou 1.5 hours later, and after two KO's (and COUNTLESS injuries), by one player's fist. (I literally told them that they could be granted a 'charge' attack if they wanted to use Struggle with Raikou at 2 HP.)
> No regrets (and blood for the blood god)

This is just a small series out quotes, but from a PMD game:

<Zweilous> Okay, we put everyone weak to water in the pool, maybe that'll point us to the solution!
<Fire Espeon> This is a terrible idea!
<Zweilous> PUZZLES REQUIRE SACRIFICE

My first match the PvP arena game Arena of the Thousand Swords, was utterly one sided, due to my opponent missing with nearly every attack, as well as filing a save roll. During the fight I only took a single hit which inflicted two injures, and since I'm playing a Berserker it only made my attacks hit harder, what made it really satisfying was IC I was trying to teach him a lesson about mouthing off and underestimating an opponent.

From my Sunday game, the pcs secured themselves a boat to go find this doctor who had been doing nefarious things to pokemon, but on the way they were attacked by a pair of gyarados hitmen. During the battle, one of the players magikarp managed to crit the thing with a Bounce, and then afterwards the gyarados hit itself in confusion--thanks to the provocateur, he provoked aoos from the entire party, so it was more or less an All Out Attack that put him down. Unfortunately, he managed to damage the boat's engine before doing so. So now the pcs are beached on the shore and will have to hoof it through the wilds.
