Um...Fighting isn't super-effective against Ground.
But it's SE against Dark, which Krokorok is.

Edit: And I missed the 4x type advantage in that post. Guh!

I have a Gardevoir that always rolls 20s on its ACs against hostile wild Pokemon. They always die in horrible ways.

Except for the most recent time it happened, when I attacked the target (Ampharos) with Gardy's weakest move (Shadow Punch) on purpose. The Amphy was at about 10% HP, and I didn't want to chance it.

Good idea. Shadow Punch put it at about -80%.

Everything in strikethrough is not memorable.

That reminds me of the Charmander one of my players caught early on in the game. Every time it used Ember, it got a critical hit. Made the battle with the bringer of a snowstorm much easier, but then it evolved into Charmeleon and the Critical Ember power went away.

Oh gosh, reading all these wonderful moments had me thinking of some interesting ones from a few of our campaigns.

As a GM nothing beat the crowning moment of awesome when all 5 of my Players nat 20'd when launching a final, ditch effort, live or die strike on the Big Bad. It was an interesting campaign, medieval steampunk-y Sinnoh covered in Crystals (Lucario and the Mystery of Mew-esque) complete with a TV-Head Robot, Religious based Government, Anicent Artifacts of power related to legendaries and their temples, and the Big Bad's Goal to Bring Down Arceus.

As a Player, it had to be When fighting the Big Bad, a corrupted Champion trying to use the power of Moltres to become emperor of the world, allying ourselves with Mewtwo we fellow Scions (each connected in a link to legendaries based on type) I tried to remove this necklace drawing power from moltres and barely avoided dying in a vicious inferno.

So minor moment of awesome in a game I'm in. The group breeder and his GF the group psychic are walking through the fighter side of Saffron looking for her Kirlia that ran off after evolving. The breeder spots some guys who seem to know where it went, so we go asking them. One of them starts asking for a "favor" from the psychic in exchange for being told where the Kirlia went. She really doesn't want to go through with it, so she asks the breeder to help. He promptly jumps on the guy and proceeds to make out with him, takes a pic of it and threatens to send it to his friends and family. We got the information we wanted.

If you want a better description, ask IrnBruAddict.
