After some searching I was unable to find any active discussions regarding custom setting fluff; things like the history, myths, or culture(s) of the game world(s). I figure this would be an appropriate place to start one.

Now for some random setting fluff of my own, to be edited into the post on whim.

This link here will send you to the game I am a part of. Approximately 3/4 of the wiki is devoted to fluff, both Player and GM generated.

Nice, lots of interesting stuff there. I've never played the Gen 3 games as I never owned a GBA, so I'm not very familiar with Hoenn.

This thread should also pique your interest, as should this particular bit of fluff, which I linked in that very thread.

Enjoy!

My take on the whole matter/energy conversion thing was that Pokemon could do it by themselves naturally, albeit on a small scale, which is what powers their varied abilities, and humans simply learned how to replicate it on a larger scale through study of Pokemon.
