How are poking needles, giving someone an item, and ringing a bell light-based?
I agree with all the other suggestions about what light-based moves could be (including from previous posts), but why these?

Also, Hyper Beam is "Hakai Kousen", literally "Destruction Beam". I don't think that constitutes being light.

Edit: Oh, by the way, Confuse Ray is a light-based move. It's "Ayashii Hikari", literally "Strange Light".

Hey, can you post the type advantages/disadvantages of Light/Sound/Time/Space? Also, Magikarp learning Baka Beam is awesome.

there is a lot of good ideas, now the secondary part of the question. Basing light off positive energy/ holy energy. What pokemon should be weak to it?My thoughts would be ghosts, and or dark.

Ghosts and dark would make sense. Possibly make it where Dark/Light both do X2 damage to each other.

I could argue points for/against Poison and dragon.
- Poison is a killer and cripples. Light is holy/good and cures such problems.
- Dragons as in medieval princess eating douche bags.

Referring to my section on Yin and Yang, it was more along the lines of beneficial actions. Heal bell helps to recover status effects, Accupressure helps restore and improve people and pokemon, and bestow because giving gifts is generally seen as a good action

Interesting move set, I think I am going to be doing a test run with a few of the new types I am designing.

I don't think I have ever seen a princess eat one of those things.
...Oh wait. Other way around. Sorry.
