Psychic and Fire are generally treated as light.

I have an old RPG somewhere that changed a bunch of Pokemon Types, and one of the new types was Light (The others being Sound, Time, and Space).

The existing Pokemon I dubbed as the Light Type are as follows: The Chansey Line, The Togepi Line, Ampharos, Bellosum (however you spell that), Ho-Oh, Gardevoir, Plusle, Volbeat, Illumise, Swablu line, Solrock, Chimecho Line, Luvdisc, Absol, Cherrim (open), Finneon Line, Uxie, Mespirit, Azelf, Cresselia, and Arceus (when holding the item "Holy Plate").

You can find the changes here: http://z7.invisionfree.com/Pokemon_Tensai/index.php?showtopic=114

and the new moves I made to go with it here: http://z7.invisionfree.com/Pokemon_Tensai/index.php?showtopic=118&st=18

and finally, some changes I made to their movesets: http://z7.invisionfree.com/Pokemon_Tensai/index.php?showtopic=153

There are exactly two light-based attacks, being Flash Cannon and Mirror Shot. Both Steel types.

I suppose it depends what you mean by 'light'. Do you mean Light the physical phenomenon, or Light as in Holy?

You forgot the obvious: Flash. Also, Doom Desire (another steel move). Luster Purge also appeared to be light. Morning Sun appeared to be a light based move. Solar Beam is quite light based as well.

I see light as not just meaning something that comes from a source that extrudes lights, but as well as the good or the yang to Dark's yin.

List of attacks I would classify as possible Light attacks that haven't been listed so far:
Aura Sphere
Sacred Sword
Sacred Fire
Energy Ball
Ancientpower
Cosmic power
Healing Wish
Heal Pulse
Heal Block
Light Screen
Acupressure
Bestow
Heal Bell
Hidden Power (Obviously it changes still)
Wish
Aurora Beam (raaaaainbow)

(I would say Hyper beam, but its best left with Normal, since it and Giga Impact are good neutral moves)

List of attacks you can remake into light or make a copy:
Flare (originally Seed Flare)
Ring of Light (originally Aqua Ring)
Lightspeed (Extremespeed)
Lightsaber (originally slash, and the fact that it was remade several times already)

To carry on the Yin and Yang concepts, here is what the sides of each represents, roughly and crudely;

Yin: Dark, Passive, cold, moist, decaying, negative, defensive.
Yang: Light, active, hot, dry, growing, positive, offensive.

If you take a look at Dark type, very low damages, with odd effects and tricks. Very Yin side. There for, Light should be beneficial, supportive, helpful, and when being it, offensive.
