So tonight while working on the story for the PTA game I am going to be running I began writing egg descriptions for each of my trainers starters. I got to thinking, and decided that i will write the description for all the Pokemon eggs (which is why i put it in homebrew). This will be in between writing the story for my game, participating in the game(s) i am in, and work. So it may take me a bit, to get all of the eggs down, but if there are any specific eggs you would like done, i would be more than willing to skip to it and write it up for you.

I've had this, an image with every Pokemon family's egg in it, sitting on my hard drive for a little bit for just such a purpose - so my players can see what a given Pokemon's egg looks like. I've done a little checking with Bulbapedia, too, and the eggs I've been able to find there from the anime match up with what's in the image, too.

That's amazing! I have saved it thankfully for when and if my Players purchase random eggs from the Pokécare shops. Doesn't exactly help me with my splice eggs, but then, I give them descriptions of my own and the Pokédex gives obscure information.

There are many of those eggs that i think are simply fantastic! But then there are some where i look at them and go, "They...they could have made that one more fantastic."

I didn't really go over the list although I did briefly check Elemental Knights comparison on Bulbapedia. 5th Generation eggs aren't in that image, are they? Were they released yet?

5th generation eggs are in the image I posted; the eggs are grouped by generation, actually, so you'll know you hit 5th gen when you see the Victini egg (cream-white with a red-orange "v" on it).

But I'm pretty sure whoever made the image - and unfortunately I don't know who to give credit to for it - did invent some of them. I'm pretty sure we haven't seen every Pokemon family's egg in the anime. But of those we have seen, or at least those that have screenshots from the anime on Bulbapedia that I could find, those are straight from the anime. (Check the Vulpix egg, for example - exactly on-model there.)

I recognize a lot of the eggs from Pokéfarm so the custom ones may have come from there, but that's good to know about the 5th gen eggs. Thanks, Elemental Knight!

That Spheal egg is just adorable. And I'll be passing that along if and when the time comes where we get eggs in our campaign.
