Quite interesting. What are the chances that a mac version of this will ever become available?

I love this, it's made my life a lot easier. I've noticed a few issues with it though, which are kind of a pain to deal with in the middle of a session. If they've already been fixed pending for the next release, great, otherwise I hope this information helps.

Natures don't seem to save properly half of the time, and it tends to reset to Hardy when a sheet is loaded. Also, the max HP is sometimes miscalculated, which causes the program to return an error upon loading if the current HP exceeds the max, which in turn prevents things like the moveset and abilities from being loaded.

Also, when I attempt to give the ability Compoundeyes to a Pokemon, an error occurs: "Sequence contains no matching element". Other abilities work for those Pokemon.

That's all I can think of for now, I'll let you know if anything else unexpected happens. Good work so far, can't wait for the next release!

I can't seem to multi-quote, so I'll handle yours first.

I have not seen an issue in-code with Natures, but I will take a look at it in the future to double check. I shall thoroughly check it, you can guarantee it :)

As for the Maximum HP...quite strange for sure. I'll look into it. I'll look into it to make sure that it won't do that in the future again.

The ability not working...90% of the time is because it's not inside the database yet. I thought I had all the abilities inside, but I guess not. I shall have to work on that for sure. Thank you for the bug reports. Can you possibly send me some sample INI files that have caused these issues, or perhaps a reliable method to reproduce the bugs (other than CompoundEyes)?

As for a Mac Release...possible and might happen. You'll need the Mono framework installed and will unfortunately miss out on quite a few extra features, but I can always do some of it via code anyway.

I've attached a rar containing all of my inis as of now.

The natures of most of these reset to Hardy in the program, even though they are listed differently in the file itself (for instance, Omega has a nature of 27 which should be Hasty). I couldn't remember how to reproduce the HP bug, but at least one of the files is saved using the 1.30 EXP system and gives a similar error (I saw that it was fixed, but maybe it'll be of some use regardless).

The natures seem to load just fine for me, not sure what the problem was in the old version. I've also fixed the HP bug; it shouldn't raise an exception again.

Okay! Update time! The program is now on version 1.1.4 and here is a change log:

*Slew of bug fixes and compatibility with older INI files [Successfully loaded an original INI file]
+Added the ability for the types of the Pokemon to be changed
+The Stat window now highlights which stats are positively and negatively affected by the nature (in blue and red respectively).
+The 1.30 Abilities list has been integrated properly.
+Pokemon with the Compound Eye ability no longer throw an exception when the ability is added.
+The Capabilities Window will automatically add capabilities if a move grants a Pokemon a capability
#A small bug with this is that the window might occasionally have the same Capability twice.
Looking into fixing this.
#Using the shortcut keys only seem to activate on the first Sheet. I am looking into a way to fix this.
+STAB is now displayed and calculated properly.
+The Maximum HP should always be calculated properly.
+Increased the load time of the stat page by using Strings instead of full classes for the Species ComboBox. (I measured almost a 75% speed increase, huzzah!).
+ToolTips are formatted better for abilities.

ToDo:
*Save-All still needs to be done.
*Reset needs to be done still. (I'm just lazy...sorry :3)
*The "Help!" link still does nothing...sorry again! :D
*Complex Generator needs to be finished.

Check the OP for the updated link!

Morning everyone! Before I release a new version, I'd like to know if there are any bug reports that need to be taken a look at. Otherwise, as soon as the new move system is implemented in a few days, a new version will be out.

Yes, actually.

For Natures, Bashful and Quiet are the same in your generator, both showing +Sp. Atk, -HP. One of them is suppose to be +Sp. Atk, -Spd

Also, i am not sure if i miss it, the Held Item that you fill in under Tools for each sheet, cant be seen at all

EDIT: One other thing, is I was trying to make a shuckle, and when I went to go add the moves for one at level 10, I got the following error:
Spoiler: click to toggle

It caused a fatal error and closed the program

EDIT AGAIN: Process of elimination has shown that the program hates Withdraw, the move, and that causes it to crash

EDIT AGAIN SORRY: Guard split isnt available to choose from pokemon who learn it leveling up, and 5th Generation pokemon don't have egg or tutor moves

I shall fix Bashful and Quiet. I probably screwed up something sadly. As for held item, it's there somewhere. I'll check it again. Moves are still flaky it seems; the new system should make it easier to detect moves that do not exist in the move database. Withdraw doesn't exist apparently, and...a few others don't. I have to do those by hand at some point.

No need to apologize. That is a rather...interesting bug with the Generation V Pokemon...I'll have to look into it.

any chance you could add the possibility of adding the same move twice? Runemaster's letterpress is supposed to do that.
