Hi, the base stats for PTU won't change other than technical corrections (I think Samurott had some inaccuracies in the PTA dex?). Move lists will stay pretty much the same as well. However, ability choices will be different (and structured differently), and capabilities will change. In addition, Pokemon will have skill ranks. So the answer is the program will need to be updated a lot to work with the PTU dex when that's done.
This is assuming I can actually get a method for PTU to be put inside the program like I have PTA done. If PTU is more organized in the end, I will be insanely happy. Right now, PTA's way of getting into the program (at first) was error prone (my original dex file had upwards of 100 errors).

I wouldn't mind getting PTU to work, but for now, I'm only supporting PTA. Once PTU hits maturity, or a better level of completion, I'll start to create a PTU version. I'd rather not spend time on something that can change in the future. For now, though, PTA is stable enough that I can code a consistent, viable data driven program around it.

Zix, I'm glad you answered Jiven's question because I honestly have no idea how PTU even works (no time to even glance at it). If someone wants to help out, I don't mind throwing the latest source code that I have for my application to see if someone can get it to work for PTU. Most (like, 90%) of my source code is heavily commented because I tend to read back over and optimize where I can (so I'd prefer to not forget how my code works).

Oh! You're using the older program. I should clear out that link so you get access to the new manager. The original one has a save bug I just cannot actually track down because when I go to debug it, the program just closes itself.

So where are the correct links? All I can find is the one with the save error.

Awesome! Thank you so much! This program is amazing!

Question: Do you have any aspirations to add a combat calculator function? I've been looking for one because it would make the game a lot more user friendly for kids and math challenged people.

I actually will be doing so in the future! I'm more than welcome to ideas for how to implement such a thing if anyone wants to help mock up screens for me.

If I could make one suggestion, is there a way to make it easier to look up pokemon? Having them in numerical order is good, but makes things difficult, especially when some of the encounter generators out there don't have their number listed with them
