Here's a little something I worked up earlier today. The basis is a trainer who creates golems (or constructs, so it's not confused with the pokemon) of various shapes and sizes. Naturally they can look like whatever you like upon creation, and there's plenty of opportunity for them to be enhanced/benefit from the abilities other trainer classes have.

Either which way, just wanted to test out something that I think'll be fun. Cross classing's included, one of them being compatible with Wild Child's Hunter!

Advanced Class: Relicsmith

Mind Mod.

Drill Mod.

Sky Mod.

It's Learning

Medium Construct

I have no skill in judging balance, but I love this class's concept. Who needs to capture a pokemon when you can make your own custom-built minion of awesome?

EDIT: You should probably make it so that constructs get a basic at-will move at all sizes, just to avoid "I have only only option as a move this turn." In addition, Psybeam and Extrasensory for the Large and Medium constructs are rather equal in usefulness- the former has a more annoying secondary effect and more range, but the latter just plain hits harder. Lastly, for the Colossus, I may be wrong here, but I'm pretty sure Power caps at 7. Still, awesome looking class, and I will post any more seeming issues I notice.

EDIT: Just had an idea- Maybe you could add a feature that gives them a certain move based on their type?

For Elemental Installation it might be better to have it consistently the respective Elemental Booster, it stops unequel levels of use of items. After all a Thunder Stone is only useful for two Pokémon, Pikachu and Eevee, while a King's Rock evolves the same number of Pokémon and gives can cause flinching if held.

First off, thanks for the comment! I had initially thought of giving them each an at-will as a starter attack, but decided to instead give them stronger and lower frequency moves as they progressed in size to emphasize their strength. It's also good incentive for someone to focus on upgrading a construct rather than amassing a quick army of them. You've got the choice of making a bunch with limited moves, or taking the time to upgrade them one by one, and create a unit of superior construct models! Hahah, I hope I was able to get across what I mean well enough. Also, I may be looking at an old version of the book, but as far as I can tell Power caps at 10.

As for them gaining an ability based on their elemental type, I had actually meant to include that from the start, I just completely forgot! What it'll do is change either their physical or special move upon creation to one of that element. There were actually quite a few things I would have liked to do with elements, but with the class having 14 features as it is, I feared giving any more would be too much of a power play.

A sound idea! I'll edit that in shortly.

I'm not so sure if I'd like a player using this class, but it could be something interesting for NPCs to use against them.

Superman
Prerequisites: Relicsmith, Sky Mod, Red Button
Monthly
Target: One of your constructs with Red Button installed
Effect: The construct flies a number of squares equal to 20 + half it's sky speed and explodes, doing 3d20+Atk or SpAtk+it's level neutral damage in a burst of 10. Those hit by the explosion use wichever defensive stat is lower in damage calculation. The construct is destroyed.
Awesome class idea, can't wait to introduce it to my players. On a side note - is Superman an Iron Giant reference?

That is as well as "I Am Not a Gun."

To be honest, not liking the class. It seems more efficient to just raise a Pokemon rather then spend all this money and features making Constructs...
