I'm pretty interested, though a question-- You say we can buy TMs, but also have a three-per-pokemon limit. Does this mean they start with three then can be given extra, or do we have to buy the three? Beyond that, "no legends"--does this preclude Cryptozoologist and Signer? Are they allowed, and if so can you choose your patron? A number of patrons? Touched obviously wouldn't be much of a problem since its features don't vary depending on what you have. Actually speaking of Signer, what about Ranger in general? Are you allowed a level 100 Companion on top of your team, or will that aspect of the class be ignored? What loyalties are assumed for the pokemon, all at 4 or some sort of point-buy? This does enable or disable a lot of things like restraining, using Snagger etc. Breeder and advanceds also seem like a bit of a problem spot-- do natural edge and egg advantage count as "triggered features" so that they only go on four pokemon, or does your entire team get the bonus? Oh, and in the tag tournament, is actually TAKING dual wielding mandatory, or will it be handwaved? I can easily see Tag Battler dominating the entries there, and it is pretty hard to catch up. And most importantly: If all features are allowed to be used, then what happens if you faint the opposing trainer, an automatic win? Can the trainer just not be targeted? I assumed that we were going by the League legality markings for which features can be used. Is that correct? And would you count Move Tutor's TM creation feats to be crafting and therefore unlimited as long as you have the money or as triggered because they have a roll to succeed on the crafting? What happens if items break (Ex: ability accessory) in the course of the tournament? Do they repair before the next match, or should you just buy backups just in case? |

Alright to the responses and thanks Garlyle for the channel I will stop by sometime. @Kuoru: Times of the week are varied I'm available almost anytime usually in the evenings mostly though from (3~11pm EST),(15:00~23:00 GMT - 5) Thursdays are game days for the game I am in so that's really the only one that I'm not available. You can post stats any way you'd like as long as they can be read lol, I've seen wikidots and spreadsheets and other methods if you check page five on indigo plateau's thread that's the character sheets I usually make mainly cause I'm not to good on the spreadsheets or wiki area. A free IRC client is a good way to go, I use Icechat and it's worked for me alright, I can send you more information such as channels and whatnot as soon as I get that set up. Although if you wanted to you and your opponent could set up a forum based battle if you would be more comfortable with that then IRC. @Olympus:On Tms, kinda, you start with none but you may select 3 free TM/HM moves that the pokemon may learn and teach them to them as if you have the Tm. You may buy extra. In terms of Singer and Crypto the only thing I have on Crypto is the allowing of summoning legends as well as using a legendary pokemons move's and such though I suppose considering the levels it is possible, however no legendaries may be summoned to fight even by features for both of those classes. Ranger can have a companion lvl 100 and for the purposes of the tournament we can disregard the limit on their pokemon that they can control so that they can have a full team of 6. All pokemon in this fight are considered at a loyalty of 4, however if your class or features calls for it you may lower the loyalty of your pokemon to a level you determine (that way you can still do Shadow moves and other features) on the subject of Breeders yes those features are only available on 4 of your 6 Pokemon so that there is not a large breeding stampede to the stadium, it adds a bit more choice so that you have to put a bit more thought into what pokemon you want to have the bonuses rather then just sitting them all with it. If you decide to take part in tag battling you are given Dual Weilding for free as a feature, you do not have to meet it's prerequisites. @castformhp:Yes Tm creation is crafting so unlimited uses till out of money, also accessories repair between fights. @Pershire: Yes you may use the bonus stats feature.
