I've completed my character for this game, assuming you'll accept me. Anwen Mifawny comes from a reasonably affluent family in Nimbasa City. Though very timid, Anwen was found to be gifted with machinery at an early age. As a young child, she could often be found sitting inside taking apart various things, only to put them back together perfectly as an apology when her parents scolded her. Most of her teenage years were spent working part-time in the city's Pokemon Center where she made sure that all the public computer terminals were running smoothly. It was also here that she learned some basic first-aid. Recently, she began training pokemon at the Nimbasa City gym and was put in charge of maintaining the gym's rollercoaster system. Anwen has been around technology most of her life, but feels she is adaptable enough to function in a low-tech society as well. She doesn't like to brag, but there's not much that she can't do with just a hairpin, some duct tape and whatever else might be lying around. Here's where you can download the sheet I made for her. I've decided she'll start with a Poliwag, since that seems to be a pretty balanced pokemon at these levels: http://www.mediafire.com/?s1sv5uioh6s36b4 |

Wanted to make a quick check / status update quickly. I'm possibly hoping to start during the next calendar week (The week of April 18; if the group fills out to play on Wednesday, it'd be the 20th, if Saturday, the 23rd). If possible, I'd like all submissions from people interested by 9:00 AM EST on Wednesday the 20th. At the moment, unless I missed some(one's) [like the derp I am], these are the people who have completed their character submissions: Zoofman - Valdis (MA/Weapons Master/Rider) Prospector - Cael (Psychic/Healer/Empath) TheAmazingPeanut - Anwen (Capture Specialist/Engineer/Artificer) If anyone else is interested in playing, please don't hesitate to submit your sheets. And label which days out of Wednesday and Saturday work for you (Both, one or the other, neither?) |

Ok then I should submit my application. ^^; Kyryk (kai-rick) Kyryk is from the Cainin region, and is a child prodigy in a variation of aura martial arts. Spoiler: click to toggle Kyryk is 21 years old, and a kind caring young man. He almost always wears a smile and despite his past he holds no grudge or hatred towards anyone except perhaps a small amount towards those who ridiculed him. He is 5'11" and 165 lbs. By no means a heavy weight though he is strong for his apparently skinny physique. With no dress code set by the monks he has grown his brown hair out and ties it in a pony tail that hangs between his shoulder blades. He wears a set of oval glasses to aid his blue eyes. His garb is that of the monks, preferring to wear robes that while loose do not interfere with his martial art motions. His robes are ceremonially white, intended to be dyed when the partner pokemon appears to match their colors, symbolizing their bond. I think I intend to take him Martial Artist/Aura User/Gaurdian but I am still not certain on that last class. I might decide on Massage Therapist or Mystic as the last but Gaurdian I think is more likely for his personality. Oh and of course Riolu as a starter, Female if I'm allowed, though I haven't chosen nature and ability yet. I'll look into that later when i get home from work. Dox said he can't because he doesn't have enough time. And Miles, Venipede is perfectly acceptable; hell, in the other group one of the other players chose Venipede for their starter. |

I did have a little question about the life sucking mechanic. Is it going to be an absolutely necessary thing..? Are there alternatives since it's currency? Just figured I'd ask before I completely wrote it off with my character being a nice guy. ^^; |

It won't be absolutely necessary. On top of whatever you acquire yourselves, some bosses will spill out their excess energy when you slay them, and you might get some as rewards for plot stuff and sidequests when it comes up, which can be used for whatever purposes you like. It probably won't be a TERRIBLE deal, but it should be enough that you guys can at least function. You'll just need a lot of extra energy if you want the GREAT stuff. |

I also know bonnen said you and him had some kinda "agreement" that he'd be in, but far as I can tell he hasn't said shit about it to anyone else. |
