Hoho this time you won't have whatever ridiculous levels and be Steven Stone to defeat me. Mwahahaha the question is which of my many characters should I use to defeat you.

Is mental suggestion an illegal feat to use during trainer battles?
For the Championships I would imagine so. But then again I'm not the campaign writer so what do I know.

I look forward to being on a theoretically equal playing field with everyone this time, even if it was fun to be the "Optional After-final Boss Secret Boss Fight" last time.

You say whatever legal-level up moves ya? So what happens if we have a fully evolved pokemon that hasn't met the level to learn a few moves but in their earlier forms it has learned it.

Example:
MEGANIUM learns Solarbeam at lvl 66
CHIKORITA learns Solarbeam at lvl 45

So if i wanted a Meganium at lvl 50, could I give it Solar Beam?

Provided you provide the GMs with some reasoning as to why the evolution took so long.
Easy answer is an Everstone.

BAH i want to see so many of my character ideas into action but i can only pick one.... I have a character for almost all the classes.

Also realized that for us to place 1-8 we need to do a lot of battles.
It's 7 Battles just to see 1st place winner + another few to determine the next few spots.

Maybe some fast mock battles for the other places in case it takes too long

Actually Pwah, to find out 1-8 place it won't take that long. We'll have two GMs, so other players can watch the matches.

Ahh I see forgot about second GM. That works then. Also...

Could you explain the level 1 moves that evolutionary pokemon have again.
Like Arcanine,
1 Bite - Dark - Tough
1 Fire Fang - Fire - Beauty
1 Odor Sleuth - Normal - Smart
1 Roar - Normal - Cool
1 Thunder Fang - Electric - Smart
39 Extremespeed - Normal - Cool

How do we get those moves?

These Moves are retaught be Move Relearners.

For the purposes of making your Pokemon, please count them as Tutored Moves.

Should we flip a coin for what ability our pokemon have or do they get the first one that is listed?

also how many egg moves or tutor moves can one pokemon have?

A Pokemon can have 7 Level-up/Egg moves, and 7 TM/Tutor moves. Therefor, a 'mon can have 5 Level Up moves, 2 Egg moves, 3 Tutor moves, and 4 TM moves, as an example. Any combination is legal.

WAAAAH when did picking a few pokemon become soooooo difficult >.<

I'm also gonna assume you don't want us to have like 224 pokemon Pokedex, so that we gain an extra level by just seeing one more pokemon ya? or own 29 pokemon so if we catch one more we get another level.
