Well, I'm at 7 already; one more couldn't possibly drive me any more crazy, right?

Right?

Yeah sure, you can come along. You do have some idea of what roleplaying entails though, right?

Hope you don't mind. I edited the first post to make it like, a thousand times better.

Also I updated the characters.

On the outskirts of Ivoryscape, a motorcycle comes to a halt at the end of a dusty, forgotten road. As the sandcloud formed begins to settle, a young man dismounts, eyes stoically studying the individual who had waited for him. Then he pulls off his helmet, letting pitch-black hair fall down to his shoulders, covered in torn, rugged riding gear. When the name Eules reaches his ears, he nods, and extends his hand.

"It's been a while, my most hated rival," Eules beckons the other, the waiting man in that fancy -
pompous - black suit with the finely kept blonde hair and stupid fedora. His response is merely to chuckle, and smile.

"Come now. The cameras are off. You could at least smile for me," Kris' grin is wide, and takes his hand with a shake. "Drop the whole 'rival' thing. I like hearing you say my name anyway."

"Piss off."

To those who lived in Ivoryscape, and the lands around it, these two meeting up like this would've been the event of the decade. These two men, who until five years ago had been Champions of the Pokemon League. They'd fought, barely teens at the start, back and forth for the region's title over the course of three years, until one day Eules failed to show for a challenge and disappeared off the face of the earth. Kris, claiming Champion wasn't worth it, had been the leader of the Elite Four ever since.

Today, though, it wasn't about that.

"Let's cut to the chase," Eules leaned back lazily on his motorcycle, twirling a Pokeball from his belt on the end of his finger. "You've really got a lead on one of them?" when Kris nodded, he continued. "So what's the catch? I'm not fighting you for Championship again. I'm done with that crap."

"Aww, but that seemed like so many fun times~" Kris teased, then shrugged. "Bah, you've probably grown tired of
normal challenges anyway. Besides, this time, I want to work together with you."

"...What's in it for you?"

"Don't be so suspect. ...No?" studying the disbelieving look on Eules face, Kris conceded, tipping his hat a bit. "Fine. I miss travelling around with you. I need a change of setting. ...And besides, I'm very serious about what I said. It could literally be the greatest adventure of our lives."

"...Fine. Let's hear it," Eules conceded, and watched that stupid wide grin form on Kris' face.

Can I assume that bit was just flavour text before the game starts?

Speaking of which, I had a spit take earlier when I realized that, while Friday, in general, will work for me, it won't this week, since I'll be at a convention. I'll be, then, away from the Internet until late at night Friday and Saturday, and even then, if only for an hour. If it's possible to have a game Wednesday for just this week, that'd be great for me, or, since the GM has a good idea of my character already, I'm fine with Friday on auto run.

Yeah, it was flavour text. I'll probably be doing a couple more before the game comes around, too.

That sorta sucks, also. I still intend to have it Friday though; I'll have a general summary of what went down here afterwards, so although you won't have experienced it directly, it's very capable to have been caught up in it anyway.

Oh boy.
Dare I ask if I can still join? I know seven players is a LOT, and if I could find a campaign open anywhere else I'd go there, but I've had no luck. I would have been here last week to join, but I had a very busy week/end.
Also, I've had a little experience with tabletop RPG's, but I'm still pretty noobish, and I've never tried it online before.
Anyways, it's ok if the answer's no, but I hope I can still squeeze in.

Well, the other guy who wanted to join hasn't shown again, so if you can get in your character sheet before he does, you're welcome to.
