I'd love to have another session. Something just came up, and since it seems we're not playing today, I'm gonna be gone for the rest of the evening. Hope everything works out in the future, and that I didn't kill yet another campaign. |

Server's up. MapTools version: b70, still (Sorry to those who may have updated and deleted any older versions, you'll need to go get b70 again - I haven't had a chance to confirm b72 works for me, or whatever the newest version is) PTA Rulebook version: 1.05 (Please note that this time there's some changes that actually apply to the players here so uh) I apologize in advance if I don't seem up to snuff today; I'm probably way too tired to be GMing right now, but I'm going to do it anyway. SESSION 03 SUMMARY: Professor Mariam joined the group. She hesitantly explained that the caverns were part of an ancient ruin sealed beneath Ivoryscape city, that they were busy excavating - so ancient they predated written history. Apparently though, something deep within the ruins was in danger - something mentioned hastily about a gate. And the man who attacked Mariam? According to her... it was none other than missing champion Eules. But why, and how'd he know about this place...? Further exploration of the cavern let the party meet a new friend - a rather friendly Shuckle who bro'd up with Warren's slowpoke, Avery. It also put them in the warpath of the strange pillar they had found before - it was a part of the body of an Onix of unfathomable size, dwarfing any recorded length by miles! A fierce battle with a beast so massive that other pokemon hitched a ride on it - and came out to help during the fight! In the end, with the pokemon fallen, Alex got the guts to try to capture it. What seemed impossible turned out all but - when the last pokeball began to capture the unconscious beast. The caverns began to rumble - the giant was practically a support system for much of the caverns, it seemed, so long was it - and as the pokeball continued to draw in the Pokemon, the caverns to the south began to crumble of their own accord, quickly getting closer and closer... Next time on Pokemon Lost Adventures: HOLY SHIT IT'S A CAVE-IN! And other more dangerous things! |

![]() This is Earth's Mantle. It is a large area of rock sitting between the Core and the Crust. At least it WAS. Before I put it in a pokeball. ... Yeah... Edited by Halfwing, Sep 3 2010, 07:28 PM.

I'm afraid you'll have to wait for Warren to take Elemental Sync before you can make your Onix into a half-lava fire monstrosity. Oh man, I can imagine it now. That thing, half made of semi-molten rock. If this were Dwarf Fortress, I'd probably be worshiping it. And for the record, I'm really sad I missed most of the big fight. Next time, next time. So the cave-in is coming from the south. Looks like we're all trapped underground for awhile. Edited by Ramiel, Sep 3 2010, 07:26 PM.
