I'd be completely new to RPtools, but I could give it some thought if the times work out. What times and days do you plan on playing?

We're sort of running on a "Just log into the server when you happen to be around and available, and when we're all there, okay let's go 8D"

That could work. I'll look into how RPtools works, but could I also sit in on a session or something?

Yeah, that sounds reasonable. There won't be any sessions for a little bit (Alphira is in the process of moving), but once she gets back you should be more than welcome to.

For now, you'd need to prepare a character like we did. Try to get a portrait too, since we've got little custom sprites that we use to match.

Name: Vincent
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 140

Portrait: Posted Image

Stats:
STR 13 (+1)
DEX 10 (+0)
CON 13 (+1)
INT 7 (-3)
WIS 9 (-1)
CHA 12 (+1)

Eventual Class:
Ace Trainer -> Type Ace (Water)
-> Type Ace (Grass)

Eventual Pokemon Preferences:
Horsea (Possible Starter)
Corsola
Magikarp
Chinchou
Oddish
Hoppip
Other Waters and Grasses that pop up

As a child, Vincent loved the sea. All of that grainy sand on shore paled in comparison to swimming in the waves of the rough ocean or the calmer lakes. Then, as he grew older, he started to find new reason to love the sea: women. While balancing these two loves of the sea, he befriended one girl in particular, a trainer a few years older than him. Good times were had, and the girl introduced the joys of raising and training Pokemon to Vincent.
And then one day, when Vincent was preparing himself to ask the girl out, she announced that she would be leaving with several of her friends to take the Gym Leader challenge. What was the end of the world for him then turned into a passion to become a trainer and eventually a Gym Leader himself, so that the women of the world would then travel towards, and not away from, him on their badge journeys.

----------

There's what I have. If Alphira's fine with Horsea as a starter, I'll insert the bit about the girl leaving Vincent a low-leveled Horsea to him as a parting gift that I had.

I also had a question about water Pokemon... in the games, you can send out any old water Pokemon on land and have it fight as well as any other Pokemon. It would be a little awkward on a map, but is that how it will work here, too?

That looks good (Can you be two different kinds of Type Aces at once? 8O I thought you were limited to one at a time but I haven't paid that much attention to it)

Also, I'd assume we're able to use Water pokemon on land... I know pokemon like Gastrodon have been shown on land in the show, so...

Yeah, Type Ace says it can be taken twice, each one for a different type.

I'm already gonna be a normal type ace, but I see no reason we can't have two ace trainers.

Actually having multiple type aces isn't really a bad thing...
