Okay, that town in the Northwest is the starter town. Maus came from the town on the other side of the lake, he has just arrived and may or may not have caught his first pokémon on the way. Mimi lives there and is about to start on her GRAND ADVENTURE. (Pick her starter, ect.) Rema traveled to the town from the south for some fancy material he heard made really good accessories. (And gets caught up in the hijinks) Eric is one of the professor's aides who gets inspired by all other adventurers. (And so picks a starter for himself.) These are all just suggestions, of course but I think it gives a good answer to your question. Also, I live in US Atlantic Time or "UTC/GMT -5 hours". It's 4:40 A.M. here. But my sleep schedule is fucked up. Going to sleep at like 1:00 in the afternoon, ect. It shifts around but it's easily adjustable so I can change to match your guys' times. GOD DAMN I CAN'T SLEEP! This has me too excited. As for Rema, I would say that I could be going there specifically to grab a pokedex. Turtwig my be an injured pokemon I nursed to health along the way, but I'm there to see that pokedex. I like to build stuff. I want to see how that thing works. |

Mimi has a skitty, she just needs a pokedex, so she'll just go to the professor for one. |

For Maus, no, he didn't capture a Pokemon on the way, but the trainer he had followed suggested he find and meet the local professor; so he'll take a starter then. Also, it seems like we've got fairly similar schedules. I work graveyard on the weekends (So I'm used to doing things at midnight if needed), but outside of that I'm really up for whatever time, because when I'm awake and not just goes all over the place. |

My work schedule is pretty chaotic. It changes form day to day. So I won't be able to do just a set day of the week each week (or however often we do this) But I know my schedule pretty far ahead of time, so I can plan around it. |

I'm on Eastern Standard time, but I'm usually up until about 3:30 in the morning. Some time after 9PM (for me) would probably work out best on my end. |

For anyone who wants to see the starter region slowly grow - the Maptools server is up pretty much 24/7. |

Oh god the map is gorgeous <3 Now if I can just remember how properly to use Maptools XD (Actually, I should -really- learn it so perhaps sometime I can use it for an open campaign...) Edited by Garlyle, Jul 27 2010, 11:50 AM.

for any of you who have ever played magic the gathering and that retarded chaos mode or whatnot, percentiles!!!!!! Fun times. and i realize there are more than 100 attacks, but you could have like X amounts of lists of 100, roll a D whatever to choose a list (each list has different orders of moves too so like if a move is on 3 lists it not in the same place), and then roll percentiles to get that. i know it seems complicated but cant get more random than that. |
