It's not really that hard. If you want to do it with a visual aid, you just need something like Maptools.
If you don't want to use that, there's the option to do it in a chat program like IRC, or by getting everyone together on a Ventrilo channel, for instance.

I have a major campaign idea of my own floating about in my head though, which I may attempt to run, so if I decide to do that, I'll gladly open it up to you guys.

Once I know what generation we're going to focus on I'll make a character sheet and tell you the team I want to have eventually. It should be pretty easy to figure out since it's gonna be all normal type pokemon.

So here's the region.

Expect a lot of 2nd gen with picks of 1st and 3rd Gen.
Some sprinkles of 4th.

Holy crap that's awesome.

Just before I generate this, any particular age restrctions you want to set or anything? I don't want to submit just a character sheet, I like to at least come up with some background information.

Just make sure the character can handle physical challenges and the like.
Some of those paths are pretty long.
As long as they aren't flimsy or get carried away by a breeze - anything goes.

I want to be able to push the existing mechanics to their breaking point.
(So we can fix them afterward, of course.)

err... STR is my dump stat, is that going to be a problem?

Also, what are the black lines on the region map?

Those are provincial lines.
If you look at an actual map of Venezuela, they match up.

Edit: Also, no, as long as you fulfill your classes' purpose.
Or maybe it will be?
LET'S FIND OUT.

My classes purpose is to be FABULOUS.

I will FABULOUS my way through this FABULOUS region with my FABULOUS FABULOUSNESS, because I am just that FABULOUS.

Nah, but seriously, my character is a pretty cool guy. He enjoys fights to challenge himself and try something new, but he's in it for contests in the long run. Not the kind of person to run head first into a battle, but would not hesitate to jump in if a friend was in trouble.
