So I'm giving these rules a hard read and am itching to give PM'ing a shot. I'm a maptools cultist, btw, so expect huge elaborate maps. Unless you don't like maps and would rather use your imagination; that's fine, too. Eager PM, looking for trainers! Any takers? Edited by Alphira, Jul 25 2010, 01:40 PM.

I might be, I'll need to install RPtools and see if this horrific computer can run it without melting into a puddle. |

As much work as I have done for P:TA... I have never actually played, And I already have maptools. Plus this will be a great chance to test out my tokens. I'll get to work on status effect Icons. That way we don't have to just use rings of different colors. EDIT: Also, moved to P:TA discussion. Edited by Halfwing, Jul 25 2010, 08:27 PM.

I'd have to download RPtools, but I'd definitely jump in on this. |

Alright, my computer seems to play nice with MapTool, so I guess I'm in. I'll have to play around with it to get comfortable with the program. |

Ok, clearing up all tech-related We will be using the most up to date build of maptools as it comes out. (Different builds don't connect with one another so this is just for simplicity's sake.) Do you guys want to use Fog of War? The server name is Ulpirra and the Player-Password is the name. What will be your player names (the names you log into the maptools server with)? Also - does anyone care what style of map we play on? I can make them (the maps) resemble the pokémon videogames if anyone wants. Or any other kind of style. We can just map on virtual versions of graphpaper dungeon scribbles, too. Moreover - What style of campaign aesthetics? Big open map? Specialized dungeons? Lots of cities? Or maybe more forests? Wanna go underwater? If you don't particularly care about one of them, just feel free to not answer. If you aren't sure, though, also feel free to ask for clarification. I'm a helpful PM. <3 |

So, Existing region, or a Homebrew region? What starters will be available? As far as the look and feel, I would like sprites, but I feel the tokens might feel out of place in a sprite world. Although I would like something less focused on COLLECT BADGES, GRIND GRIND GRIND COLLECT BADGES! I would like the option to be there, but not forced into it. Also, I plan on being a Coordinator (FABULOUS) you will have contests right? I mean, even if you don't I'm fine with it. Coordinators are awesome either way. But a lot of their feats require ribbons. |

I'd rather not use Fog of War, honestly. I'll be using Emong as my player name. For the maps, I think the game sprites would look the best. For the campaign... I don't know, really. I'd rather not be forced into a ton of dungeons, but I'd like there to be a fair bit of battling. Other than that, I'd like to know how quickly money's going to be coming in, because I'm going to be a Capture Specialist most likely, and I'd kind of like to not have to wait forever to take my class because I don't have the money to take the feature. |

Uh, lessee... Fog of War: I'm not too preferential. Probably wouldn't be bad to use it if you're intending on blocking sections of the map from us. Player Name: I'll need to get maptools up and running to confirm, but I'll probably just be using "Garlyle" too. Map Style: Don't care too much, but a medieval dungeon is gonna look horribly out of place, I think. (Erm, unless we go with that kind of idea o.o). Just, whatever we do, don't make it too out of place! Campaign Style: I really don't mind too much. Dungeon Crawling with pokemon sounds like one of the weirdest things ever but also potentially awesome. Uh, and on one final note: are you planning to run it as a full actual campaign or just a couple small sessions? Just asking, because personal preference leads towards not-level-1-characters if we're gonna just do one or two sessions. |
