I'm Bob. I found out about PTA through Nuzlocke's forums (where I also use the user name Bob). I've been in a couple groups so far over IRC with Nuzlocke members, but school has gotten in the way of multiple players/GM's schedules. I have near infinite free time right now though, so I'm always interested in joining any IRC/online client based campaigns that start up.

Dirty is the name.
and P:TA is the game.

Well I am a newbie. This might be the first message board i join. i think it is.
Ohh how i enjoyed Pokemon when i was young. I was introduced to P:TA by a friend of mine.
I had never played a tabletop game ever in my life nor did i know the rules. I have come to enjoy and respect the game.
Well i am running a campaign in Los Angeles, CA right now as a first time GM (PM).

Oh and my Pokemon of choice would have to be between a Wartortle and a Poliwhirl.

You guys can call me Xyltch

I lurk, and occasionally post on /tr/ /cm/ and very rarely /tg/.

My boyfriend introduced me to P:TA when he found it on /tg/ one night. I looked it over and it looked very interesting. I haven't actually played it yet, but I'd love to play and see how it works out and maybe even end up GM'ing sometime.

My favorite Pokemon are: Magnezone, Alakazam, Porygon Z, Rotom, Typhlosion, Rypherior, and Aggron

Hey guys, I'm Darchias. I don't really use irc (ever really, I may need help finding the server if you need me there), but lurk on a few different forums. I am currently playing in Darth Meanie's Pokemon League of America on Myth Weavers (I am in the Atlantic Gulf conference).
I'm in the Army and currently deployed to Iraq, so although I get on my computer every chance I get my appearences can be sporadic, and on occasions I can't get on for a few days at a time.
I've played Pokemon since Red and Blue, and played every generation since (technically I played 4th gen BEFORE I finally picked up a 3rd gen game, but still...) I used to be a huge fan of Ground Type's and Sandslash, and still am, but Steel types and Aggron are starting to edge them out in my number one spot.
I was introduced to this game through my brother, who heard it from a friend, who heard about it when trawling the Myth Weavers boards.
I'm an experienced role-player, and I mostly play DnD 3.5 when not trying to cajole my (few) role-playing friends to play this.

Thank you for your service. Incidentally, my father served on the USS America in the Navy on the front lines of the First Gulf War.

>mostly play dnd 3.5e

Would you be willing to jump to 4e, because I'm looking for group.

I don't really know a whole bunch about 4e. I played a little when it was in beta, and I didn't like a bunch of the changes. To be honest, some of the stuff confused me, and trying to trawl through sourcebooks at this point to learn is too troublesome. I simply don't have the time.

SUP POKEFANS

For some reason I decided to call myself Shiny here, you can also call me Sam if you've a mind to. I lurk /tg/ and /lit/ infrequently (and spend far too much time on /d/ to be honest). No tripcodes for me, but I will certainly say hi if I see any of y'all.

A friend of mine told me about P:TA and I was instantly hooked. Now that I've read and reread the books a few times, I've assembled a group to actually play this face to face! Which is exciting. I've loved Pokemon since I played Blue Version in elementary school. Favorite pokemon is still Charizard, I beat the whole game with that bad boy. I have a general fondness for the fire starters. Except this new pig-thing. He can go straight to hell.

Hey everyone, I'm BloodAngel266, Angel for short.

I'm a longtime lurker of /tg/, which is where I found out about P: TA. The second I saw the threads about it, I know I'd want to try this, and even help out if possible.

I've played Pokemon since the Red/Blue/Yellow days, and owned Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Emerald, Ruby, and Pearl. As for tabletop games, I've played DnD 3.5, Shadowrun 4e, Warhammer 40k (where I got my nickname), as well as some custom systems.

I actually ran a game two days ago (Friday night) for four people in my tabletop gaming club, where everyone in the club said "Yeah, I want to play that!" It was my first time actually running a game, but it was hugely successful, though it has brought up some questions and comments that I'll post in the appropriate section. I can also post the game recap if you guy want to see it.

I'm a fire-type user, all the way. My favorite Pokemon is Charizard.

Ello ello, the name's Kaze, or atleast that's what I'm usually called in the internets.

I don't really have a favourite pokemon since I love almost everyone of them.
But I guess I usually prefer the psychic ones.

I usually lurk /v/, /a/, /d/ and rarely /vp/. I managed to find a thread in /vp/ talking about pokemanz and tabletops and now here I am.

I'm a novice when it comes to tabletop games, I dabbled with pen and paper rpgs with no clear rules as a child and rp'd on a couple of forums back in the day. The only experience I have with tabletop rpg is a couple of games hosted by a friend who's on the other side of the world from me. Needless to say, those games didn't really fly well, ending before they can even start.

I'd really love to get more into tabletop gaming, especially a pokemanz themed one but there are so much things to take in that I'm not really sure where to begin. I'm slowly chipping away knowledge from the manual but I'm still pretty much clueless. I guess I'll be hiring experience to be my mentor soon.
