Hello, my name's Kazuma, a pleasure, I'm pretty new to the PTU scene, actually, I'm pretty damn new to the whole dice rolling scene overall, and surprisingly it's slowly gripping my soul from how much fun I have in all of my session, no matter the type of pathfinder or tabletop I've done so far. I'm curious to learn more on the PTU to make sure all my doubts and thoughts from what I've read so far to see if I can improve and let the knowledge stay concrete in my mind so I know what I'm doing while having a blast all the while, so I'm probably gonna be asking some random things here and there pretty soon, just hope I find the right place to ask it!

Howdy from Montana,

Online I go by Guswadsworth. I am very new to Pokemon Tabletop and have only been playing DND 5E consistently for about 8 months. PTU 1.05 is a complex and intricate system and, while my group and I are still grasping all the concepts, I love it. I am eagerly learning and hope to make last nights debacle of a session go much smoother.

Thank you to the wonderful group of people that have been busting there tales to put this system together.

Gus

Heya, I'm chimesong! I've been interested in tabletop gaming for the past few years but I never got around to trying one out. A friend recommended this to me and it looks really interesting, so here I am!

I know the basics of tabletop stuff, but I haven't had any experience in an actual game. Been playing Pokemon for a long time, so no issues there. My favorite pokemon is Magnemite. :p

Looking forwards to learning more about tabletop and playing in an actual game!

Joined the forum, hoping to play some games with you gents! I'm still studying about how to play tabletop games. I never had experience in the past, and anytime I was invited to a D&D session in the past, I've always had everyone flake out at the last limit. Hopefully I can learn a lot here so I can start playing!

Alright, so you guys can call me Walter, most online peeps do. Got into Pokémon kinda by accident, because my parents once got me the wrong game for Christmas. I'll spare you the details, but anyway, I got the Pokémon TCG for GBC, liked it, and soon got the then-latest game, Pokémon Crystal. And damn, did I love it. Still do. After that, I also played Red and Yellow, then got Ruby and and Emerald and FireRed. Played a bit of Pearl, but it didn't grip me that much. Platinum was a bit better, but I think I didn't even got through half of that game. Obviously, I got the Gold/Silver remakes, because hey, I'm a Johto child, but I basically skipped 5th Gen and was pretty sure I was done with Pokémon. But then, the XY hype got to me...

Anyway, when it comes to the tabletop, I've been playing for...about 5 or 6 years? I've dabbled in Shadowrun, Fallout, Vampire, Paranoia, Call of Cthulhu, CthulhuTech, The Dark Eye, Airship Pirates and some smaller and more experimental things like Fiasco and Everyone Is John. When I found PTU, I was immediately enamored by how in-depth the system was and how free you can be in it. Playing a regular badge-collecting game, a coordinator game, or maybe something completely different and outrageous. I already have a pretty cool idea for a campaign that I hopefully get to play soon...

hello

i'm gatlin. been playin' pokemon for 20 years now, pokemon blue was actually the second game i ever bought for myself with my own money (earthbound being the first; i had good taste as a kid). my favorite pokemon game is probably black/white, as the story got a bit deeper, the challenge was a reasonable incline, and it introduced the world to some truly adorable pokemon and also a bag of garbage. been playin' tabletop games for nearly as long - d&d mostly, with a good bit of shadowrun and pathfinder, and dabblings in other systems. here lately i've been jamming a good bit in monte cook's various cypher systems and finding those to my liking. i've also been toying around with setting up a ptu session with a couple local friends and hope to make that a more serious campaign

as for who i am personally: i'm a huge flirt (translation:girlcrazy); i manage a hotel; i like to surf but i'm bad at it; i am a friend to all birds; i have cosplayed gary oak just to call every single person i came across at a convention a nerd; i play girl characters in most games because i like cute crap; i totally love puns and dad jokes but will still groan if someone pulls one on me cuz that's how you're SUPPOSED to respond but i'll secretly be cherishing it

nice to meet you all

I wonder who

Hey, I'm I wonder who.

Well if you're thinking "I wonder who this kid is..." Let me help you out. I got addicted to D&D via school club. I've played several D&D 4.0 campaigns (or was it 3.5...). After playing a Star Wars D20 campaign, I ended up GMing 3 Star Wars D20 campaigns (one is still ongoing).

I found out about PTU and PTA from watching a Third Wheel livestream. I thought I would give this a try as it combines two of my favorite things D&D and Pokemon.

If you're looking for a member for your campaign, I typically play my characters of in a more dark and gritty fashion. If that fits, great!

I guess my favorite Pokemon would be a tie between bisharp and pawniard.
Dem sick blades...

Well, I suppose I should introduce myself. Just call me another old Prinny, I'm mostly a lurker nowadays, so I just used a generic name like this, but figured it would be wise to sign up in case I had any questions I wanted to ask about how to handle things. I've recently picked up the PTU system and have been running a game of it for some players I have IRL.

It's pretty straightforward I suppose, although I made sure to investigate a bit ahead of time. As for my own running... I've been building up a couple of house rule sets for things, but mostly I scavenged a combination of other people's work and basic tileset copying for what few self made stuff I am using. Basic hack and paste type stuff really...

Anyway, hopefully I don't have to post too much, since I prefer lurking for the most part.
