I'm CalmNature I'm usually lurking on /vp/ as Calm Nature !nR/61MivGI . I figure since this game breaks the Pokemon norm I would look at it.

Hello, hello, hello! I'm BigTentacruel, regular anon on /tr/.

OH, I found my trip: BigTentacruel !!QyCZBC7b+dF

I've played D&D of all kinds (except 4e... BLAGH!) for almost ten years now, since I was a little mantyke, a little BESM, a little d20... So when I saw the concept of a Pokemon Tabletop system on my lurkings of /tr/, I just had to know more.

Been a player for a long time, but this is my first time GMing, so I will return with the questions. I'm actually rounding up a group to play IRL.

Oh, I'm a fan of water type, specifically the chicken of the sea, Tentacool, and its terrible mob boss older brother Vinny Tentacruel.

Hi. I'm YellowYoshi, but you probably deduced that at this point.

I'm here because Garlyle is starting up a campaign and got me really interested in this vast concept. I was reading through the handbook and the depth of it all is pretty awesome stuff. I especially like how many different classes there are and the vast amount of different paths you could get through it. I'm pretty new to tabletopping so this should get interesting.

Nice to be here.

Late intros!
I'm Ramiel, a fairly old /a/non who's saddened to see the current state of said board. Nowadays I spend half my time on /vp/ and occasionally /tg/. I'm not the biggest Pokemon fan, but I have highly enjoyed the games since I got Crystal years ago.
I've been trying to get into tabletop RPGs for a few years now, but nobody around here is interested and/or dedicated enough to get a game rolling. Every game I've joined fell through with no more than two sessions. I hope to find more luck online, and I'm really excited to try out P:TA.

When I was a kid, my favorite pokemon was probably Eevee, for it's cuteness, semi-similarity to a cat (big cat person), and evolutionary flexibility. I don't really have a favorite nowadays, but I'm leaning heavily towards Gallade.

Oh, and about the name - I'm not a huge EVA geek or anything, but I do think it's a good show and do enjoy the franchise. I'm always anonymous on 4chan, but if you see a Ramiel anywhere else related to 4chan/pokemon/vp/ (forums, livestream, etc.), it's probably me.

Hello, my name is BuckBacon. I found out about Pokemon Tabletop Adventures about a week before the beta came out, and have been DMing a game of 6 ever since. Our game includes both tabletop veterans and people who've never played anything like it, brought together by a probably unhealthy love of a children's video game.

Our gameplay is a mix of real life supplemented by Google Wave. Trainer battles, catching pokemon, etc are done on a battle grid in person, while most roleplaying is done over the internet. My group loves the game so much that they're on Google Wave roleplaying nearly every night.

I'm also attempting to be a game designer. My first published game, Knights of Inebriation, is, as far as I know, the world's first Tabletop-Strategy-Drinking Game. I'm currently working on the second beta, along with a cardgame revolving around the fictional sport of Kitten Hurling.

Kind of late of an introduction but I am Pwah (Pee-Wah). I was one of the play testers in Stark's second campaign. I've never actually been a big fan of pokemon until I tried out this game. This was really fun and what surprised me was that I was min/maxing more than those who actually play this game.

I was a Ace trainer/Coordinator advancing into beauty modeler. I was also able to beat the Elite Four so take that all you coordinator non-believers!

As for pokemon, I was more familiar with the original 150 pokemon so I would choose them over other pokemon.

Got any clarifications needed, I can probably help out with that.

Coordinators are awesome.

Your pokemon can have 4 different abilities. One of which you get to choose, and one of which you get to change every time you send it out.

Coordinator/Ace trainer is deadly in combat.

Coordinator/Researcher is totally broken when it comes to official battles.
