Hello, I'm Sendokami or Sendo for short. I'm an experienced DM/GM and player to a few tabletop games. Someone posted the download link to PTU 1.04 on /tg/ and I found it interesting and followed the trail back here.

I've always been a Pokemon fan in fact Pokemon Yellow was my first real introduction to video games and I've played every generation since. Though I will say I only liked the main games and haven't played any of the spin offs.

Hello fellow Pokemaniacs,

You may call me Steel Accord or my real name if you wish to know what it is. I signed up to this forum awhile ago but haven't really viewed or posted anything on it yet.

I've always loved Pokemon and often thought of it as one of the better and enrapturing settings; up there with that of Star Wars and Warcraft's Azeroth. Only with the added addition that it seems like a nice place to live!

Don't get me wrong, being a Jedi or Paladin would be awesome, but neither world has the best track record when it comes to sustained peace and prosperous living conditions.

The games offered a good simulacrum of adventuring there but it was the show I always saw as the proper window into the world. So playing a game that could emulate and expand upon the show's tone and themes would be wonderful to play!

One last question, if I had a high concept for a character, where would I post that?

Hello, ladies. And men. Men who dress like ladies, ladies who dress like men, and self-aware AI computer constructs, I say: Hello.

You all may address me as Amew, or by the full handle you see attached to this account.

I joined because the idea of Pokemon Tabletop Universe has been has been in my heart with a blazing passion.

A bit about me: I'm a huge RPG buff, particularly Shin Megami Tensei. (If you don't know what SMT is, think Pokemon designed more like a straightforward RPG and you've got kind of a good idea.)

Other than the obvious love of Pokemon, I've also taken a liking to tabletop, but just never having the people to play with. (I'm a part of the Tabletop club at my campus, but my section of the group I'm a part of is running Dragon Age.)

And, for the uninitiated, my avatar is Andy from the Advance Wars Series. I orgiinally was going to have something MegaTen related, but ZetaBoards said noooooo.

Good day, Poke-fanatics. I have been informed that I have not actually posted here, owing to the fact that I didn't know this particular thread existed. XD

On to the subject of the matter... I am the Majinonifox1. Why one at the end? Because there's one, and ONLY one, Majinonifox1. Yeah, a bit iffy there... I'm hoping it'll stick! :D I also go by Majin, Fox, or lately I've taken another moniker... Squeaky Note. If you have to ask, you'll never know.

Okay, onto a bit about myself... first off, I love Pokemon. Otherwise, why would I be here? Second, I'm not a very hardcore Pokemon gamer. I'm not all that knowledgeable about IVs and EVs and perfect Breeding strats... all I know is that I enjoy Pokemon and I enjoy playing it. Next, I enjoy Tabletop games. D&D, Shadowrun, a few White Wolf systems, BESM (Big Eyes, Small Mouth), Tri-Stat, HERO, and anything in between. If I've never heard of it, I'll ask to play it and learn the system. If I like it, I'll ask for more. If not, well... it hasn't happened yet.

I found this website when an old memory of mine surfaced of me playing in a Pokemon Tabletop locally way back when. I was pretty young back then and didn't grasp the concept of Tabletop games fully back then. At an older age, the thought of a Pokemon Tabletop greatly intrigued me. And while the local game was more than likely not playing anymore, I wanted to still play it. So I did some net searching, and found this website due to Google. Google is your friend like that. I joined, and I've liked what I've seen so far. As I said before, I hadn't really known where this thread was before so...

So yeah. That's me. Or it couldn't be me. It's up to you to decide. Ask me questions, add me as a friend on Skype: majinonifox1. I am an open book that can't very well read itself at times... but if asked specific questions, I answer them truthfully and honestly. Hope to speak to you all soon.

Hello everyone, I'm Entheogenesis and and I am a lurker.

I found this site a few years back, before P:TU was around I think, downloaded the P:TA books and tried it out with my brother. Turns out that I am a singularly uninspiring GM, we both lost interest.

After the events of TPP I was feeling the need for more Pokemon in my life. While wandering through my bookmarks one fine day, I happened across a particularly conspicuous link, one marked with a Poke-ball, that brought me to this site.

I've been lurking around for a little while, enjoying the PbP games and slowly reading through the P:TU handbook. However, I believe now is the time for me to come out of the shadows, to step into the light, and to say; "No longer shall I simply look on as others frolic in the imaginary worlds of Pokemon, I shall join in this frivolous revelry and contribute my own inane musings to this dance through the unreal, and I shall be a better man for it. For I am Entheogenesis."

So here's me, Entheogenesis, the former lurker. I look forward to to enjoying your company, you who are reading this post, And wishing you a beautiful day. ;)

Hi, I am Nakiato. I am new to the PTU system. I am not new to Pokemon though. Been playing it since I was a little lad. Hopefully I will enjoy it here, as I learn the system, and grow from the experience.

Hi, I'm the fabulous Superfairyprincess! Learned about PTU two months ago, just started playing though.

About me: I study physics, was voted geekiest undergrad in the program(quite an achievement considering it is my first year). I also have ridicolously long hair and working on my beard.

*stands up* Hello, I'm TM93 and I am an RP-aholic.

I enjoy all sorts of games in a variety of formats, Pen and Paper, MMO's, or, well, video games. Occasionally I enjoy a good book, and I enjoy drawing, even if I'm not the best.

I really feel like I shouldn't have to state how much I love Pokemon, but. Yeah. I love Pokemon. If I hated Pokemon I really have no idea why I'd be on this site.

I've posted a few times before (ten times tops I think), then I went away for a while, then I just lurked for a few months, and in the last week or so I've been posting more regularly. And when I look back on some of my ideas I go "holy crap did I think some of that was SMART?" funny what lurking for a few months and learning how to balance can do to your point of view.

I generally hold the title of GM, although I always relish the chance to be a player, although sadly my schedule doesn't allow me to go onto Roll20 or the like for sessions regularly (I know forum-based PbP format is an option to just jump in whenever but I tried it once and didn't care for it. Although that was a large-scale thing, maybe a 3-5 player PbP campaign I could handle)

Although I currently have a character concept in reserve, a melee-oriented Flamebringer/Charizardthrope named Blaize "Flare" Brighton...

Anyways, here I go ranting again, in short, I look forward to contributing to this fine community however I can, even if it's only a little at a time.

'ello, i'm sable (as you can no doubt tell from the poster id to the left ( :P )) and i am also a RP-aholic. it's nice to know i'm not the only one :D .

usually the phrases 'i wonder if...' and 'Google' are a very dangerous combination but it seems to have worked out well this time.

i've been playing p&p rpgs for over a decade and a half (D&D (2e/3.5/Pathfinder, GURPS, Mutants & Masterminds and have experimented with more) and have been playing e-rpgs even longer (my first rpg was Final Fantasy IV (or II as it said on the cart)).

i discovered Pokemon back in the red/blue days and have been enjoying ever since (although i've made no real effort to keep up with the games as they come out).
