Figured it's about time to introduce myself.

I'm Old Greg! Been lurking a while, but finally joined. I do most of my gaming on Mythweavers - I've been running an eight-player Johto sandbox there for a couple months now (link), and I'm having a friggin blast. I'm looking forward to trying out PTU - probably as a player, as I'd have to be a bit insane to run another game.

I'm studying in Sweden right now, and I have a job interview with Paizo coming up - errbody cross your fingers pls

Hi. I'm rstone13 (which is just the first part of my university email address, terribly uncreative). I've been looking at this project for quite some time now and figured I would register and share some of my thoughts about what I've seen so far. If I ever find some time I might actually get around to playing one of these days.

Hey. AlandSK here, Aland or Al for short.

I'm a long time Pokemon enthusiast (starting from the original release of Red & Blue GB games in the US). Used to play the TCG and GB games religiously, not too much anymore. I have GM'd quite a few RPGs like D&D and White Wolf's Werewolf: The Apocalypse, and played numerous online RPGs. A fellow D&D player mentioned wanting to start a Pokemon Table Top campaign and after reading through the player's guide, I think I'm hooked. Ahh, nostalgia.

Favorite Pokemon: Dratini, Growlithe & Phanpy

Greetings!

My name is Team Rocket Grunt, and I have been lurking for awhile. I am actually trying to put together a campaign IRL for a few friends, but I have only GMed once for a short while and lack GM experience. If anyone can point me in a good direction for GM advice, that would be lovely~

It is a pleasure to meet you all. Unlike most would think, I am not a fan of zubats or koffings. Favorite pokemon is Mewtwo, followed by Haunter, Houndoom, Gyrados (and its x4 weakness to electricity;; ) and Pikachu. I'm happy to see both young and new generation fans of pokemon on here~

I've lurked the forum before, though I thought to post my interest in hopes of getting some gaming in. My IRL gaming options are a barren wasteland of possibilities, save for a once-monthly game that may or may not happen. I used to play PBEM before, but that doesn't seem to be an option any more.

I'm only a few years entrenched into my tabletop gaming, though I'm willing to play anything at least once - twice if my arm's sufficiently twisted. I enjoy the odd Pathfinder game. I hope to GM a game in shallow waters, one day, as I've never done so before and, frankly, I want to start somewhere whilst still within a comfort zone of sorts... I play the Pokémon games with some devout frequency. I enjoy reading and writing, for the sake of it and to further my horizons and deepen my interests. Random minutiae: Leo by sign. I am drawn to the colour, indigo. Favourite Pokémon is probably Typhlosion, and Fire-types in general. (And Psychics, too, if they look interesting enough. Like Elgyem.)

PokTA, I feel, combines my appreciation of the tabletop environment and, of course, a franchise I've loved since the late 90s. My hope is to find a game within that playground. Worst case scenario: I begin my dabbling as a GM within that playground... and hope for the best. Though, I'm not at that point just yet.

Happy gaming, all.

Hello all, how are ya? The name's Vael and thought I ought to at least say hi before I go back to lurking.

Currently, I'm playing my first P:tA game alongside a certain guy on this forum going by the name Lockdown. It's been an...interesting game so far.

Soooo, yeah, nice to meet you all and until I post again. Peace!

G'Day, I'm Rowan (although I generally go by LSWSjr), I first discovered the game a few months back but have only had the chance to really started playing it recently.

I'm a parent and longtime gamer/roleplayer with nearly twenty years of experience mainly with CRPGs, D20 (primarily D20 Modern and Star Wars: Saga Edition), oWoD/nWoD and the UniSystem (which I'm a playtester for). I prefer to be a player, but I'm usually a GM both online and with tabletop games.

My favourite Pokemon are mostly from the 1st Generation: Mankey, Kabutops, Haunter and Eevee (and all its Eeveelutions).

I've become an overnight fan of Pokemon Tabletop Adventures and have been spreading the word to my Pokemon loving friends. Typically I play as a Breeder+Psychic usually taking Medic as my third class and Empath as my level 25 class choice. My starter when given freedom to choose is always Eevee.

Anywho I'm hoping to get a bit more involved in the community and maybe even play a few PbP games.

Cheers
Rowan/LSWSjr

I'm BaronObvious. I posted on this board a while back (about the Pokedex formatting and order of creatures) but I figure I should post here before going anywhere else now.

I have some questions but I'm not sure entirely where to ask about it. Namely, the combat system and damage rolls confuse me, as well as the friends I've been trying the game out with. Is it just me or do the PDF's feel very disorganized? Like, things that should be in one book are in another instead, and the stuff that's in the right book feels placed in the wrong order. Some clarification would be great.

Hello everyone, I'm grishnax. I will be running my first campaign of PTA on Saturday with a bunch of my friends. I'm interested in doing a campaign over the internet, possibly GMing, but I need some experience with the system first.
