Hello Fellow trainers, I'm starting a Pokemon PTA campaing in a few weeks and I made a Ace Trainer who is going to proceed to Type Ace later on. Now I see two abilities: Ace Trainers Enchanced Training says: each of your pokemon gains and additional 20% the amount of experience they would gain normally. Type Ace Type Training says: each of your chosen typed pokemon gains +30% the amount of experience they would gain normally. my question is actually quite simpel, it is nowhere specified, but do these two abilities stack? So lets say i'm a type ace poison trainer, i battle with my grimer and i should get 100 xp normally. I have both of these skills, does the second overwrite the first or do they stack? would I end up with 150 xp or 130 xp? For as I read it, you would end up with 150 xp, but maybe it is better to house rule it that it overrules? the bonus xp is already pretty good but i think +50% xp compared to your fellow trainers could be considered a bit broken. What are your thoughts? Greetings, Bierdwerg |

I believe that you would get both 20% and 30%. Of course if you think it's imbalanced you can do 20% for all pokemon and then 30% for type specific, Poison in this case. I would probably run it in the latter way, myself. |
