Is this balanced?; A devious Buneary that has a craving for spicy food.

Simple question, one of my players tried to catch a Buneary with the not battling and offering to join the team method. Little did he know that it was devious and tried to Sky Uppercut him when he offered. (He dodged sadly for me.)

He caught it and I said it was +5 attack, but -1 in every other stat and will only eat Spicy food. Is this balanced and fair?

You think that's unbalanced? You are like a little baby, watch THIS:

This is so OP it's sickening. No player can resist its siren call of power. Oh, my answer is that looks fine to me, btw

Yeah, that's totally fair. Heck, even just replacing one of its Abilities with Huge Power(the playtest version) wouldn't be unbalanced. It's really hard to unbalance PTU with just stat raw point adjustments.

See were doing a normal campaign, or last one got out of hand. My players when I said the stats were like "You're about to go down the same type as last time" and I'm like nah.

I do love that move though, holy shit.

Oh, if you thought THAT was bad, that's just something his starter picked up. This is what the PC got:

This PC unabashedly murders anything whenever he can get away with it. He is fully going down a fucked up path in exchange for crazy magic powers.

Buneary's already pretty much built for glass cannon-ness. It shouldn't be too bad - it'll slaughter things at first but it'll fall over in a stiff breeze, especially if said breeze is Physical. I'd be more worried about Sky Uppercut until you hit a reasonable level - a strong At-Will move will frequently be a bigger issue than a couple points worth of stats, especially at low levels, and the Fighting coverage is pretty strong for a Normal 'mon. Then again, he'll pick up Jump Kick early in the 20s, which is about on par, so just keep half an eye on it. He might like to keep it for reliable Fighting STAB if he gets to Mega Evolve the bun.

I'm guessing its a high powered campaign if that's on the cards... Christ. It's at least good to know that this is perfectly normal then.

Its more important to have fun and interesting things than a balanced campaign. That bunny sounds like a really cool unique shiny pokemon.

Thank you. I figured that a diet of only one flavor (spicy correlating to attack etc) would play a big part in a Pokemon's stats.
