Optional Move Effects; Some moves have a little bit more to them.

Double Team: The user creates 2 Clone Tokens beside it immediately, and must choose which one is the user. The user does not have to declare this to the opponent in the case of PC vs PC battles, but cannot change their mind once it is set. (In the case of PCs, to make sure they dont, they must tell the GM which one) When Shifting, all Clones & the original user must Shift the same direction & distance, if able. When the opponent declares an attack on the user, the opponent may make a Perception Check to find out which is the real one. The user may respond with an opposed Stealth Roll to have the attacker not know which to hit, or if they roll too low, fool them into attacking the wrong one. Once a Token is attacked, it disappears.
Certainly more entertaining than the actual move effect. Has it been tested?

I did it recently with my campaign, so yes. It worked out IMO, though too bad my PC was able to distinguish the real one soon as it was their turn with beating Ash's Froakie's Stealth Roll.

It's a lower powered version of what Double Team in PTA did, so there's probably quite a few of the old hands. Consensus was that it was too powerful. This one isn't as bad, but it's still one of the more powerful moves in the game since it funcions effectively as two protects for anything with a decent stealth score.

Huh, what a coincidence. I haven't even seen the PTA Moves list until just now due to curiosity lol

All moves with "beam" in the name, plus Flamethrower: Instead of their normal Range, you may instead perform them as a Cone X, where the maximum X is the move's normal Range. When performed this way, the move's damage total (including the relevant attacking stat) is divided by (X+1).
