Currently I'm working on making the pokedex from PTU into a card form for printing. Currently I'm cutting everything down to generation 1-3 since that alone will already take several months on my own. I will also post the full set once I am finished. This is meant to be condensed so that it can be printed specifically on 8.5x11" paper, some information is currently omitted since it doesn't change after evolution (i.e. egg group) or just can't fit (i.e. Tyranitar's ungodly amount of moves). What isn't on the cards will be put onto a separate reference sheet. I hope you all enjoy. P.S. If anyone would like to contribute to the production of this, I would certainly appreciate it since it may lead to the inclusion of more generations. I am currently using Adobe Illustrator, though other programs may work too. Pokemon #1-8 Sample: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B12SzvtIE5eVSHFtTnd1TUVBV0k/view?usp=sharing |

Very interesting concept here. I presume you would be able to use these as quick reference instead of having to look through the full pdf for the entry. Very interesting. So in what context would these be used? Depending on the context, some of this information might be superfluous, or you might be missing information you need. |

Thanks for your reply, currently, it would certainly just be a quick reference for if you run into a Pokémon/decide to catch it. Some things like egg groups would be on a separate, dedicated page because you won't need those as often as a lot of stuff on here. Without going into details, a lot of the choices I've made here come from the constraint of my cousin not being able to use a computer and myself not wanting to spend tons of money on ink and paper. Not to mention being able to practice my design skills more since I haven't been able to since highschool. Because of all of that, I decided to focus on what is unique to the specific evolution of each Pokémon. For example: bulbasaur will learn certain moves earlier than venusaur, so moves are staying, but their breeding information doesn't change very often if at all, so that won't be on the card. Tutor moves (abbreviated as T-- to conserve space) will be listed on a separate spreadsheet, just like TMs and HMs. In the end, I want this to be a form which, when printed front and back, can be cut apart and used like in a normal DnD game. |
