Let's be real here, Goldeen and Seaking are worthless. At least Magikarp evolves into something useful - your Goldfish pokemon is about as helpful as a real goldfish. It's such a shame that beautiful pokemon like these are so outclassed by every other Water pokemon that you're better off, even in PTU where many shitty 'mons found new life, passing them up.
Let's fix that!

These are a special variant of Goldeens that have lived in Reversal Mountain for thousands of years and are well-known for their stunning appearance - structurally, they appear the same as any other member of their species - except their skin is completely translucent and their internal organs float around inside like a lava-like jelly. Basically, they're lava lamp fish. In my Unova, the ocean from Undella Town has many rivers leading into the mountain, which has its own vast reserves of aquifers and underground lakes. The Seaking from the ocean, over millennia, grew more and more accustomed to their volcanic environment until they began to take on its fiery aspects. They can naturally swim in lava as easily as they swim through water. Don't think about the physics too hard.
I didn't change much about them - a unique Fire/Water typing, some ability changing, and a bit of move fiddling has turned it, while not a powerhouse by any means, into a novelty with a bit of a bite.
They are naturally much more aggressive and prone to anger than their marine counterparts.
