Type Affinity:
This is a series of Edges designed to provide just a splash of the supernatural without falling into it full tilt. Each is based on Basic Psionics, but with a different type and move.

Basic Pyrokinesis
Prerequisites: Elemental Connection (Fire)
Effect: You learn the Move Ember.

Basic Hydrokinesis
Prerequisites: Elemental Connection (Water)
Effect: You learn the Move Water Gun.

Basic Electrokinesis
Prerequisites: Elemental Connection (Electric)
Effect: You learn the Move Thunder Shock.

Basic Phytokinesis
Prerequisites: Elemental Connection (Grass)
Effect: You learn the Move Vine Whip.
-----
I'm sure I'm not the first person to come up with these, but I didn't see them anywhere.

I would have written Basic Cryokinesis, but I couldn't find an Ice move that is on the same power level.

Powder Snow would be the closest for a Basic Cryokinesis, unless you wanted to avoid the fact that it's a Line 4 instead of a ranged 1 target move. In that case, the only other real option would be Ice Shard, which is a Priority. It's a lose-lose situation.

I do think Vine Whip is on the weak side as well, but alas same problem. Even if you made it Leafage, I don't think it would solve the problem of the others simply having better effects.

You could just have it alter struggle attacks to become Range 4 and change the type, as well as make it use your Special Attack.
Obviously, if you want secondary effects this isn't going to work out.

Pardon me while I over-analyze all this...

Okay, so comparing the edges at the moment to Basic Martial Arts and Basic Psionics:
Comparison Table

(If we want to take Gen 7 changes into account, Vine Whip went up from 35 to 45 so is almost certainly going up from 4 to 5. Leafage, however, is 40 so it's basically exactly a Physical Grass-shifted Water Gun; however, I don't know if it would have a capability attached.)

At the moment Aquakinesis and Herbakinesis are very slightly weaker than Pyrokinesis and Electrokinesis, since Water Gun and Vine Whip don't have secondary effects; whether they're on par with each other depends on how much usefulness you assign to Threaded versus the Struggle-altering capabilities (I'm inclined to say Threaded might be more useful). Honestly, the distinction between the four is really so small as to not matter much. Basic Psionics grants a somewhat stronger move than any of them (higher DB and more range, if narrower effect range) but doesn't grant a capability, and Basic Martial Arts is basically on par with Pyrokinesis and Electrokinesis apart from being melee-only and not granting a capability, but it's also easier to get into because it doesn't require Elemental Connection.

l33tmaan's suggestion would basically make all the edges grant the equivalent of having the appropriate Struggle-modifying capability plus the effects of the Basic Ranged Attacks Poké-Edge (so they'd *all* be DB 4, AC 4, At-Will, Range 4). This has some merit as far as being easier to balance but does make them all significantly weaker than Basic Psionics and Basic Martial Arts (a bit less so in the latter case), so it might not be desirable.

As far as other types go, here are a few ideas:
