Fantastic article on Ninetales. One of my players started out with a vulpix and after a little in-universe research found that nine souls given willingly make a ninetales much more powerful than just a firestone ninetales. He is currently searching out a way to get those souls. When he does it, the ninetales will get the illusion ability/capability, a few more ghost types level up moves, and a few other cool tools to play around with. That said, might think of some curses for its tails.
I had a lot of fun with Ninetales. It's just such a great Pokemon for plot hooks. Also, your player might consider hitting up a Spiritomb for some souls. It has 108 of them, so it doesn't seem unreasonable for it to give some up if the PC does something for it in return.
That is a great idea that I hadn't thought of. I am going to put it on as one of the possibilities, but I think he has already fallen hard on a plot thread that will get him his goal. Can't say too much, he lurks here.

I'm going to be cheeky and request for a post on Espurr or Torkoal. Loving all of these too much.

Heh, very interesting. The last hook for Eevee almost sounds like a variant on the type-shifters from Dark Storm Rising. Drawing some inspiration from the game perhaps? :P

I'm not familiar with it actually. Is that one of the games on the forums here?

Yes, it's the one run by Dark_Shadow. Very high quality (and I'm in it, so possible bias there).

Hey I've been reading since you started and think this is awesome and I was wondering if you could do the Mareep line and the Oshawott line please.

I think you mistyped "Phanpy" as "Donphan" several times in the latest post.

I'm not going to do the whole line of each of them, because I've discovered that sequential mons from an evo family that don't change dramatically between evolutions runs me out of ideas, and I've found I'm less happy with my results (I don't think I did all the mons of the Magby line justice). Which mons from the evolution families would you like to see most? Dewott is the only one that will be anytime close to now alphabetically unfortunately.

Whoops! Thanks for the catch! Sometimes I end up going on autopilot for these posts.

My bad I thought I typed "or" not "and" o.o

I'd say Ampharos and Samurott, please.
