First off, these are amazing - way better than I could ever write.

If you're doing work with legendaries, I'd love to see an entry for Raikou - if not, Manectric.

Both of them have been added to the list!

I'll be alternating between magmar line and raikou/manectric, but I should be able to get all three of the line out in the next two weeks assuming I alternate between them and alphabetical progression.

Methinks you're too hard on poor Budew. A crafty trainer will note that Water Sport is a nice support move for any enterprising Grass Trainer to apply a little more resistance to their defenses. Perhaps more notably, it grants Fountain.

Fountain allows Grass Types to generate Water flavored Struggle Attacks, giving it a nifty little surprise in battle against anyone who was expecting an easy win by Fire alone. Depending on the set up, it might be enough to pull off a surprise win over a trainer expecting an easy victory.

I hadn't considered that when looking at Budew mechanically. That does give Budew a bit more use than I gave it credit for. It doesn't alleviate the BSR issues that plague Budew, but it certainly makes Budew viable with some basic type coverage options.
