The path through the - admittedly quite light - forest is either extremely well-maintained or extremely new. In places, there are what appear to be Pokemon trails that have forged paths into the forested area. A few Pokemon call in the distance, though none are immediately visible.

Sibyl enjoys the novel experience of the Gogoat ride, finding peace simply through feeling the wind through her hair as she rides through, and the up and down of the Gogoat's trotting. She thinks a little about the Ranger's empathy too, wondering if maybe she could do something similar with the spirits (the Ghosts, if you'd rather). That seemed out of reach for now, at least. She whistles a tune during the ride, a traditional-sounding song from back home - something from the kimono dancing hall.

She hops off of the Gogoat, standing a little farther back, giving the Luxray a more respectable amount of space. She continues looking in the direction of Isabella as she talks about Pokemon empathy, listening in from afar.

"Of course," Reiner nods to Isabella. He crouches down, looking towards the Luxray, who growls slightly at him before relaxing. He rummages in his bag and produces a small set of bandages of his own, glancing over your own attempts at medical treatment. "This is quite well done," he adds over his shoulder. "And no, I'll manage from here. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Though if I may make an observation?" He looks directly at Oscar. "Sending a Pokemon out alone after poachers like that was...unwise, to say nothing of trying to follow them yourselves. These people aren't the 'bad guys' you find in comic books and movies. If your Pidgey had encountered them, one way or another she would not have returned to tell you about them, and you would have fared little better had you run into them."

Oscar raises an eyebrow at Reiner's reproof. "Well, firstly, I only asked Harria to do an aerial sweep of the area, keeping enough height and distance not to risk anything. I trust her enough not to rush in singlehanded or do anything as rash as. As for myself..." he frowns briefly. "you might be right. Not that I think I could live with myself if I didn't try to do something, but perhaps I was a touch... precipitate. Still, we'll know better next time, won't we?" If his confidence is in any way shaken, he doesn't show it.

"Well, I mean, we couldn't have just done nothing." Isabella's working hard not to get angry at Reiner's rebuke. She knows he means it for the best, and he's a lot more polite about it than some people would have been. She may or may not actually be succeeding. "And it's not like we have a number for a hotline or something. If we hadn't run into you we wouldn't even have known you were already out here. We could've, I don't know, snuck up on them and gotten pictures or something, that way we'd have evidence when we did manage to get in contact with someone."

Sibyl nods in support of her fellow party mates. Getting a lecture was annoying, but Reiner is clearly just being nice about it. She adds her opinion to the conversation as well. "Oscar's right, we did think it through a little, even if it didn't look that way - which I understand. All the same, it's fair enough that you'd want to look out for us, but again, we just couldn't sit by, we had to do something. And to our knowledge we seemed best placed to take action."

"Or you could have continued on to Katei Town and reported what had happened there," Reiner replies. "Regardless. I hope the rest of your travels in the region are less...eventful."

"Anything's possible, I suppose." Oscar replies dryly, before returning Harria and going to leave. "Goodbye, Mr Reiner. I hope, if we do meet again, it will under better circumstances... though I have my doubts. Take care!"

"Yeah, take care, Mr. Reiner." Isabella doesn't comment on the idea of things being less eventful... though she does have to admit that these first couple of days have been kind of exhausting. "I guess we need to get back to the campsite now and pick up Jeremy. Uh... anyone remember which way it was?"

For a clairvoyant, Isabella has a terrible sense of direction.

Sibyl doesn't want to talk back too much, she realises they may have been overeager, but it's the thought that counts. So she accepts Reiner's words politely, saying, "Hope for the best, I suppose. See you around," bidding him farewell.

She looks around the woods in an attempt to appear like she's got her bearings. "Umm, I think it's that way?" She's not entirely sure, and is probably guessing.

Thankfully, while the girls find themselves completely lost, Oscar has a somewhat better idea of the route they took, and soon enough the group is reunited at your campsite, which is somewhat damp at this point as the drizzle hasn't ceased.
