Tabi Port; The beginning of a grand adventure...

Tabi Port has obviously modernised recently. Small cottages and equally-small shops are dwarfed by the new constructions; the Tabi Hotel, and the nearby Pokemon Centre.

Occupying what clearly is usually the village green is a large marquee, a large banner attached to the top reading 'Honi's First League Trainers, departing at 10am!' A big, bulky man stands outside the entrance to the marquee, checking IDs and only permitting the prospective trainers in; kids of various ages are emerging from the hotel at irregular intervals and being allowed in, often watched by tearful friends and family.

The mood is overall quite festive, with all manner of souvenirs being hawked by the entrepenurial villagers. It is now 9:50, and the last boat expected to arrive has just pulled into the docks, bringing with it the last few soon-to-be Trainers, who are now disembarking onto dry land.

You are all amongst these Trainers. What do you do now?

"Huh, interesting..." Sibyl muses, listening to the others talk about the Hydregion. "But, yeah, we should get moving, I'm sure we'll meet people who'll know more," she continues, also looking like she wants to move on.

She backs Isabella up in encouraging Abbey too, adding, "Good idea though, just maybe we ask around as we're traveling or something," and nodding in appreciation.

"Ah... right!" Abbey responds with a beaming smile. Truth be told, she's starting to get a little antsy to get going herself. With their Pokemon healed, they should be ready to head out any time.

After the last couple unilateral decisions she made haven't turned out so well, Isabella's going to at least try to pretend to consult other people instead of just waiting for (and probably ignoring) objections while she does her thing. She glances around at the other three.

"So, I'm for just heading for, uh, the next town. Sound good to everyone else?" She can't actually remember what said next town is called. Surely it doesn't matter much. They'll know when they get there.

Being stagnant was never something Jeremy enjoyed doing, and having to wait is not something he's particularly good at; to the point that it can affect his mood. So when it sounds like things are going to get moving again, Jeremy perks up and decides to lead the charge onward.

"Yeah! What are we waiting for? We're young, free, and we've been let loose on new territory with unlimited options before us. After a whole life by the sea, then a few days on the sea, then spending today by the sea, I am more than ready to head inland and see what's up." Jeremy lets Ellis out of his Pokéball, and bends down to rub his head, "Plus, it can give us a chance to get to know these guys and each other a little better. If I remember correctly, the nearest town is called, uh...'Kay-tee'..'Key-tay'...summin' like that. To the North. There's gotta be a path, surely. I say we find it and get on it."

Abbey nods in agreement, trying to ignore Jeremy's outburst of energy. She's excited to get underway too, but...

She does, however, follow his lead with releasing Rana again, holding out her hand for her take with an inviting smile.

Sibyl seems a bit surprised at the sudden outburst of energy from Jeremy, but agrees with him nonetheless, replying with an edge of awkwardness in her tone, "Oh. Of course. Sorry, you were suddenly so... dramatic." The sage old grandpa image comes to mind again, and Sibyl thinks to have a bit of fun with the idea. Recovering from the initial unsure reaction, she then half-smirks at Jeremy, saying in a teasing tone, "But look at you, sounding all mature. Well, except for the next town bit. Still, it really shows."

Completely ignoring that she's not sure of the next towns name too. That's what signs are for, right?

Ellis gives a cheerful bark at being released again, while Rana reaches up to take Abbey's hand, though Abbey has to bend down a little to do so.

It seems that, with one group having rather fallen to bits, one group still arguing, Douglas' group out in the wilds somewhere and the remaining two groups nowhere to be seen at all, your group is the first to depart the town. There is, indeed, a helpful signpost, just at the edge of the port: 'Route 18; Tabi Port - Katei Town.' Heading north, the path almost immediately enters a large forest that virtually surrounds the port.

Your Pokemon journey has now well and truly begun.
