As the title says: Any chance we get an addition to the short list of pokémon with this capability? Remoraid's based on a gun. Make it lose the capability if it evolves. Win.

As someone who has considered the idea of carrying Remoraid into battle, I support this suggestion.

Actually, Octillery could probably wrap itself on you and be used as a hand or shoulder cannon (immediately imagines a trainer wielding doublades, with two octillery on their shoulders and two remoraids in holsters on their hips)

I've occasionally considered attempting another go at the ever-popular "uses Pokémon as weapons à la Mr. Fish" class that would center around granting the Living Weapon capability, but I'm not that great at balancing and I'm not sure I can think of enough features for it. I'd probably consider "knows a move with Range 4 or greater" or "has the Basic Ranged Attacks Pokéedge" as prereqs for granting Living Weapon mimicking a ranged weapon. And yes, my mental image basically involves the Remoraid or Clauncher lines (pistol shrimp).

Quilfish should have living weapon, honestly. They're somewhere between grenades, mines, and maces.

I'll see if I can write something up for Remoraid and have it not be awkward~

Given that one of my players is constructing a marksman with an octillery, I'd love to see this.
