Frilled lizard is in X and Y. Helioptile is essentially one. |

I read recently about a type of wasp that produces photovoltaic chemicals in its abdomen to generate electric current. A bug/electric wasp pokemon that focuses on physical electric attacks sounds cool to me. |

I just remembered something I found last year. A little fellow by the name of the flamboyant cuttlefish. Tiny, brightly coloured, toxic, and is unable to swim. Instead of swimming it walks along the ocean floor with modified arms and membranes. It could make for a cool ground/poison type. I would also like to mention the epaulette shark, as it also walks along the ocean floor as well as shorts trips on land. Though I think that the Gible line already has walking land-sharks well covered. I just wanted to mention these two guys because they are adorable. |
