Shane blinks at Bill's outburst, but relents easily. His shoulders slump and he huffs. Makes sense, after all. He never spent much time in the wild. The cities had more interesting haunted places. And even in the countryside, it was always mansions etc. that he was interested in. Guess the others will know better here.

Bill is a bit shocked at the aparent harshness of his own voice. "I do apologise, that came out harder than was meant. I simply did not want to be barbecued."

He looks around and nods at Dante's and Isaac's assesment. "Indeed, it should be quite possible to built some sort of tree based shelter around here." He grabs hold of vine, pulling it between his hand to test the tensile strength. "Quite strong, should be capable of holding some weight." He glances up to the trees, noticing the wide, sturdy branches. "The structure of the trees seem quite capable of forming some sort of rudimentary foundation for a shelter of some sort, with some work." He nods, "Yes, quite possible..." he trails off in thought.

"Let us waste no time. I suppose we should craft a shelter and create a fire, no?" Zhu starts collecting some of the larger pieces of dried wood and starts making preparations for a fire under a smaller tree.

Flynn considers his options. He could climb up and grab some of the... whatever-they-are, but going up high in the storm might be... ill-advised. He could ask Kurt to TK some down, but releasing him this high up would be very dangerous.

Deciding to consult the others, he climbs down, eventually swinging down to hang by his knees behind (roll for who [result]4&4,1d5,0,4&1d5[/result]).

"Well, other than the Mankey and Aipom, nothing much to see up there 'cept the trees and the sky, and in this weather not too much of that. Mind you, the local 'mon seem to like those brown whatchamadoodles a lot, but I don't know if they're good for humans. If you want, I can bring Kurt up to TK us a few, but it might be worth waiting till-" Another thunderclap sounds, making Flynn flinch and whimper, but not noticably upsetting his balance. "-that is over and I can climb up myself."

Shane steps back as Flynn suddenly appears behind his head. However, he was not actually TRYING to scare him, so he quickly gets over his momentary fear. After listening to what Flynn has to say, he brings up his Poke-dex to look up the details on Mankey and Aipom, if any are available.

"Eve found some dropped leftovers by the looks of it..."

Dante retrieved the hemisphere that Eve wasn't busy licking the remains from with gusto, bringing it back to the group.

"I would assume if the Pokémon are eating it, that it can't be that bad for humans. A lot of the berries they eat are compatible for human consumption."

Shane's pokedex pinged happily as it read the entries aloud in a digitized voice, though the speaker was crackling with static.

*Ping* "Man-key, the Pig Mon-key Po-ke-mon. It lives in tree-top col-onies. If one becomes en-raged, the whole col-ony will ram-page."

*Ping* "Ai-pom, the Long Tail Po-ke-mon. It lives atop tall trees. When lea-ping from branch to branch, it deftly uses its tail for balance."

The hemispheres in Dante's hands are remarkably hard...closer to hard shells or rocks than tree-borne berries or fruit.

Shane smiles at the cheerful sound of the Dex. It always seemed so happy, though that was just what it was programmed to do. However, the mention of 'rampage' concerned him. And it was sheltered from the rain under the canopy... He let Mystery out again, just as a precaution.

Another typed message for everyone. Don't anger the Mankeys

Zhu wastes no time and starts putting together a shelter after igniting the fire.
"Perhaps some of the more able bodied of you can collect more wood to help build the shelter? I imagine we'll be holed up here until the storm passes." He continues to work and releases Najya to help toil the ground to make it suitable for sleeping bags.
