As the Hunter gets closer, Shane grins. Making a sign language word for 'Bad Air', he continues his flight from the Hunter. Mystery pauses just long enough to belch out a cloud of fumes right into the Hunter's face. Bulls-eye! The noxious gas should leave him weakened and, even better, poisoned until he can find a way of healing himself.

The hunter fighting with Lolth falls to the last bug bite, finally overwhelmed and unable to continue fighting. His injuries were hardly life threatening--he simply lay on the ground, shivering in shock.

The hunter giving chase after Shane began to cough at the cloud of foul smog, and had a distasteful look on his face. As he cleared the smog he still had his blowpipe to-hand and fired a dart...this time at Mystery!

From just up ahead, Roa streaks out of the bushes and slams into the hunter's leg. Meanwhile, Shane applies a potion to Mystery as the Houndour stirs sleepily.

Lolth skitters her way over to Isaac, lightly nipping at him until he wakes up. Sitting up and seeing the unconscious hunter he smiles "Geez girl, I go down and you keep fightin. Couldn't have done it without ya." Looking at his wrists and ankles "Now can ya cut me free?" The arachnid moves in and bites through the rope, which Isaac uses to tie up the Hunter this time, taking his knife back and putting it in his sheath. Looking at his partner he see's that she's actually fairly hurt "I reckon it's time for you to go back to your ball fer a bit girlie." Recalling her he moves towards where Shane was fighting the other hunter, releasing his Weedle to his side "Time fer you to prove yourself. Maybe even earn a name"

The hunter puts up little resistance as he's tied up by Isaac, though figuring out where exactly Shane ran off too might be tricky after that little game of cat and mouse... ((Survival or Perception to track him. Don't crit fail. :P))

With Shane, the hunter is still coughing...and when Roa reveals itself, a look of surprise, followed quickly by hatred, takes his face. He pulls a sinister dagger of a sharp, black, glass-like stone from his belt and stabs at Roa with lethal intent.

Shane is too late to save Roa from a stab wound, but he does manage to withdraw her and get her out of what could have been a very messy situation. The red beam from her Poke-ball lances out, energizing her form and sucking her inside to safety. He smirks at the hunter and continues his retreat. They are getting pretty far from the others now. Hope they are doing alright...where were they even headed?

Mystery rouses himself and stands to his feet. He growls and spits out a searing ball of flame right at the man. His tricks were getting old. Time to knock him out and put him down for good!

The hunter leapt clear of the fiery blast. Still coughing, he thought better of his continued pursuit. He pulled a small piece of wood from his belt and blew into it. It emitted a harsh, shrill noise that disoriented you. Mystery's sensitive ears had an even worse time of it, and the pup could hardly stand. As the sound faded and your vision refocused, the hunter was gone. ((Shane, gain 48 exp for your mons.))

Isaac could hear the noise, and found his gaze drawn to it. Even from this distance, it hurt his ears. When he looked back to the hunter he had left, tied, all he found were cut bonds... ((You can easily find Shane, but not track the hunter.))

As for the others, as no one stooped to help Dante, he was simply hauled to his feet by their captors. As they trudged forward, they suddenly came upon a village.

The village was very well disguised. You hadn't realized you were coming across it until you were already amidst it. Numerous small teepees ringed the area. Women and children moved about the settlement, tending to cookfires, leather tanning racks, and other things besides. In the treetops above, many hunters stood watch. As they were drawn further into the village, the women backed away, gasping in shock at the prisoners. The children simply pointed, looking curiously at the new arrivals and reaching up to ask their parents questions.

Isaac followed the trail until he found Shane, trying not to startle him too much as he came out of the brush, looking around to make sure the other hunter was gone "Well, that was quite a fight you just got us both into. Glad you got out though. I was waitin to see if anythin happened before I showed myself back at that there clearin." Sitting down with his back against a tree he frowned and pulled his knife out, shoving it into the dirt a few times "But I reckon now we gotta go save the rest of em. I don't think they can free themselves after all....well maybe Flynn could..."

Shane and Mystery both wince and recoil from the painful sound. Mystery whines and tries to cover his ears. When they regain a sense of their surroundings, the hunter is gone. Shane slumps in relief against the nearest tree and massages his bruised legs. That was just one of them! No way he could take on a whole tribe! Not without some serious training!

When Isaac arrives, his first thought is that the hunter was just faking and has come back to settle the score. He seizes the nearest rock and hoists it threateningly only to drop it in relief. However, he mentions the problem of saving them too. Shane sighs heavily and pulls up the picture he snapped of the hunting group upon his first sight of them. The girl seemed sympathetic, but if the tribe was all like that one warrior there was no chance. They melted into the forest, could outrun him, Mystery, and even Roa who was experienced with this terrain! Even if they managed to sneak in without setting off every alarm in the place, something Shane was doubtful he could accomplish, they would discover the escape quickly and track them down.

"We're worn out," Mystery says to Isaac, "We all got hit pretty good back there. Roa took a nice stab wound from one o' their knives."

Shane's head shoots up. Right! The instant the man had seen her, he'd reacted with hatred and attacked instantly! Perhaps the Zoroarks and these tribals were enemies? If so, they might be able to ally with the Zoroarks and liberate the others. Come to think of it, that would also explain the Pokemons' hostility towards them in the first place. He quickly types up a message for Isaac.

Zoroarks and the tribals have a feud. Go get Zoros' help?

The Zoroark.....They did seem even more powerful than the hunters but there was a big issue with it. Isaac looked lost in thought for a second before voicing his concern "See, while I reckon the Zoroark are right strong the issue is that we were told to never come back. I don't see them wantin to help us much."

Sighing he stood up and jammed his knife into the tree he was leaning against, leaving a distinctive mark in case they ever got lost in the area, though he didn't see that happening "And besides....Do we really wanna have to fight all of em? I don't wanna go startin a war just to get our friends back. I don't think we could sneak in without bein seen but like...What if they aren't bein held captive anymore? I saw Flynn talkin nice with the girl one, and they got Dante and Bill there too and both of them are smart. And Zhu is a prince so he must be a little good at talkin to people. Maybe they'll talk their way out of a fight and we'd make it worse by chargin in."

Throwing his hands up on his face, clearly unsure of what to do. he lets out a slight laugh before suggesting an outrageous idea as a half joke "Maybe they'll respect us fer our ability to fight and escape? I know that me and Lolth were able to not only knock out one of em but also tie him up with his own rope. I just wish we had grabbed his bow, that woulda been useful"
