Bill slowly grows uneasy when one of the Zoroark steps forward and starts argueing with the Alpha, obviously pointing at him and begins silently sending prayers to Cobalion for protection, Mew for mercy and Uxie for guidance. He looks gratefully at Dante as he steps up for him and uses basic logic to defend him. He looks at the crowd, and then to the Zoroark argueing with the Alpha. Gathering some courage, he begins to speak.

"I am, amongst other things, a man of science and as such my greatest asset is not my physical prowess, nor my ability to train and guide Pokémon. No, my greatest asset, my greatest weapon is my mind. When all else fails me, when my body and soul fails me, my companions have after a hard battle fallen, I will always have access to my mind, and with that to reasoning, logic, deduction. With these tools I set out a course of action, and with these skills I deduced the meaning of this ritual, something I am afraid missed us when we begun, the language barrier too great. You may think I lost because my dear friend Nikola fell, but I say I have given us a victory." He looks at the crowd, still a little uneasy, but feeling somewhat more confident.

Isaac looks at the people in his group talking to the Alpha and the rest of the congregation of Zoroark when he wonders something. He pulls out the Pokeball that caught the Zorua and quickly sends it out in front of him before kneeling down in front of her "Howdy, I know you may not be happy about it but yer part of my team now. Names Isaac, though I know you can't quite tell me yours right now I'd be real happy if you talked to that there Houndour later an let me know. Ya put up a real fierce fight and hurt Lolth real bad, and that's real impressive. So I'm glad you're on my team lil girl, and I hope you'll be happy travelin with us fer a while, I'll do my best to get you real strong if'n you help keep us safe" He then hold his hand out towards the Zorua in a gesture of peace, hoping she'll understand

After a moment he stood up and cleared his throat "Look here ya'll, if you hadn't brought us here none of this woulda even been a problem. Bill there fought real hard and figured out the trick to yer fight and I think that counts as a victry on his part. So I do believe that means freedom. Besides, if ya kill him now, how can he help yer lil one grow big an strong to come back and help yer tribe one day?"

Flynn, demonstrating the kind of situational awareness that got him into this mess of a world to begin with, strolls onto the field. Entirely ignoring the debate going on around him, he sits down on the ground, takes out his first aid kit and uses it on Kurt, despite his very limited knowledge of Medicine. Then, without a moment's thought, does so to the Zorua he'd taken out as well.

"Sorry about all that, by the way." He says to the little fox. "I mean, I know you, or at least, yer tribe started that er... little bit of a barney, but still." He chuckles, then continues. "Mind you, that little "Anything you can do..." bit o' yours was pretty awesome. Great timing, too. Anyways, I know there's this whole "rightful conquest" thingy, but I don't feel like takin' ye away if ye don't want me to. So... d'ye wanna come?"

Shane elects not to pull out his new capture just yet. The other have said just about everything that needed to be said, and besides he couldn't really 'say' anything after all, so the only thing he can really do is instruct Mystery to translate. However, he goes over and stands next to Bill, slightly in front of him, with a fiery look in his eyes. Not that it would scare anything larger than a baby Pichu, but it's the thought that counts, right?

As Flynn tended to the Zorua's wounds, it just looked up at him, thoroughly confused by his words and actions. After he finished tending to it, though, it seemed to stand closer to him, and you get the feeling that it plans on following you.

As Isaac releases his Zorua from the pokeball it seems to be reluctant to meet his gaze. When Isaac offered his hand, though, the Zorua looked at it askance and reluctantly put its paw in his hand. "Zor."

When Bill, Isaac, and especially Dante tried to insert themselves into the conversation, though...the situation changed. It was clear that the Alpha Zoroark largely agreed with Dante and Bill's assertions, if he understood them. Logically, it made sense. However, this upstart Zoroark didn't really seem to care for logical arguments.

It turned its gaze upon them, and its gaze was the very definition of murderous. If looks could kill, you would've died a thousand deaths. You were staring into the eyes of unbridled fury, and they were staring back with deadly intent. "Zoro-ark?!" "You dare?!"

Then a blur of motion. In an instant the Zoroark leapt at the trio, claws and fangs bared. Much faster than him, however, the Alpha Zoroark put himself between them. There was a swooshing sound, a tearing sound, and a howl of pain. The upstart Zoroark fell to the stone floor, clutching its face over one eye as blood dripped through its fingers. The Alpha Zoroark stood before you, staff still raised following the attack.

"Ar-ark, zoro...," he began, talking down at the upstart. The only words that Mystery could make out of his speech were "shame" and "exile". When he was done two other Zoroark stepped forward and dragged the howling upstart away. These howls were not ones of pain, though. They were howls of rage.

After that was settled the Alpha Zoroark returned his withering gaze to the trio standing before him. It appeared he had no intention of answering Dante's question. These were tribal matters, and tribal matters were of no concern to outsiders.

Shane taps Dante on the shoulder and points towards the exit. There is an anxious look on his face now. That near attack left him a bit shaken. The sheer fury of that one and the strength of the leader...It was time to go. Before something else equally as bad (but even more deadly) happened and one of them was injured. Right now, they were allowed free passage. But if they pushed their luck, that might change.

He turned and patted Mystery on the head with a smile. Then, with a respectful bow to the Alpha, he made for the exit.

Bill's eyes widen in shock and his hand clamps around the Spark Booster in his coat's pocket when the Zoroark lunges at them, and he sighes in relief when the Alpha steps in between them and stops him. "Many thanks."
He nods respectfully to the Alpha and the rest of the group and follows Shane out, if they let them.

Seeing that the Zorua wants to come with him, Flynn hops to his feet and sets off.

"Okay, then. Let's go..." he pauses as he considers a name for his new friend, "...Echo."

With that, follows the others out followed by Kurt and "Echo".

Zhu administers two potions to Najya and a Bandage before catching the eye of Najya's opponent. He gazes into his eyes with respect, and addresses him with as much.
"You are a worthy adversary, and we would be glad to have you by our side, but I do not believe in forcing you to do my will. You may choose to travel with us and become stronger, or continue to protect your noble tribe." He smiles for a minute, glancing at the Alpha. "The choice is yours, but I will respect your decision either way."

The Zorua before Zhu didn't move an inch. Instead, it simply waited stock still to be given instructions. You can judge from its demeanor that it has no desire to make the decision for itself. This Zorua must highly value the traditions of its tribe...
