Nikola tries to dodge, but fails miserably and is hit in the face by the Zorua, hard, and the blow knocks the already straight into unconsciousness, looking rather injured and tattered. "NIKOLA!" Bill shouts as his friend faints, "Curses and damnations. Guys, I'm out." He recalls Nikola, if he can.

"Eve! Don't let up on the pace!" Dante ordered, watching as his partner dashed ahead once more to ram into the Zorua borrowing her identity. Losing Nikola was a blow to the team... Dante now regretted not stocking up on Revives before entering the desert. Hopefully if they won as a team, the Zoroark would pass them as a team.

"You say luck, I say skill. Guess you use what you've got, huh?" Eve grinned impishly at her freshly Tackled clone. Wonder if these Zoroark would count a ring-out as defeating her opponent? Probably not...

Isaac saw the Zorua go invisible and Nikola go down "Lolth! I know you can't see it so jump back a bit and try and hit it with your webbing!" The little arachnid skitters backwards, eyes looking for any sign of movement before unleashing a spray of sticky webbing, hoping to get enough on the Zorua that it could be seen and thus hit again

Shane grits his teeth. One down already. That was not good. He repeats the same series of snaps. Ignore the others. Focus.

Mystery lets out a low growl and spews another gout of sulfurous flame, which strikes the opposing Zorua dead-on and splatters across its body.

The Zoroark brayed and howled triumphantly as Nikola went down, but Bill recalled him before one of the Zorua could get a foot on his throat. Though his pokemon might be out, the Zoroark crowd made no moves towards him, though many did snap their jowls at him hungrily.

Eve's opponent looked like a haggard and injured copy of its owner, and it seemed to be having difficulty maintaining the illusion. It whined at Eve in its little, squeaky voice, "Ru rua, ru-a! Ru-a!" "Not skill, lucky! Lucky!" As Mystery's attack landed against his invisible opponent the tang of smoke and singed fur hung in the air. A disembodied voice whined, "Zor?! Zor ru-a?! Ru ru-a! Ru-a!" "How?! How you see?! Is not fair! Not fair!". As the blind string shot struck something the threads vanished, and another disembodied Zorua spoke. "Zor, zor, zor!" "Icky, sticky, gross!"

Elsewhere on the battlefield, Najya's clone launched an attack before disappearing. At the same time two of the Kurt clones came at the original, attacking from opposite directions. Lastly, suddenly and without warning, a jab struck out at Lolith, seemingly from nowhere!

Najya closes her eyes and suddenly darts in a seemingly random direction, smashing into her clone brutally.

Kurt double over from the hit, his smile fading.

Flynn's smile, though, doesn't so much fade as shatter as he suddenly remembers that, despite appearances, this isn't a game. Still, they weren't totally without resources.

"Keep moving!" He shouts, while mentally reminding him to remember the plan.

Kurt looks up (though it's hard to tell with his hair) and turns his cry of pain into another sonic attack.

As Najya struck his copy, it felt like he was hitting a brick. There just wasn't much give there at all.

Kurt's clone reappeared, though this time it was in its Zorua form, clutching its ears with its paws and rolling about as it shouted in pain. The two copies of itself mimicked the motion, then disappeared as the little Zorua lost consciousness, unable to battle further. The triumphant cries of the Zoroark turned to venomous braying. It was clear that they were no longer cheering for their own. They were calling for the defeat of these interlopers in a most bloody fashion.

Mystery's opponent tried to satiate them, reappearing in mid air for a split second as it leapt for the hound, though his quick reflexes saved him from the attack as the Zorua landed again and disappeared. Even as Kurt stood triumphant over his opponent, the Ralts felt on edge, as if eyes were boring into the back of its head with deadly intent.

Two Zorua down... their chances of winning this were increasing. Hopefully they didn't lose too many more on their own side and then Dante could attempt to patch them up after the fight, assuming the Zoroark now braying for their blood kept to their word and let them go...

Dante repeated his encouragement for Eve to keep up the fast and furious footwork she was using.

"Ru rua, ru-a! Ru-a!" "Not skill, lucky! Lucky!"

At this, Eve dashed towards her opponent again, the determined look on her face quickly shifting to a mischievous grin at the last moment as she pulled a 180 degree turn. Exactly as planned, the skid across the dirt covered arena floor kicked up a cloud of dust and particles into her opponent's face.

"Nice to meet you Lucky! I'm Eve!"

The invisible Zorua let out a disembodied growl. "Ru ru ru-a, Zo ru-a!," "Me not lucky! You lucky!" It struck out blindly toward the sound of Eve's voice and managed to find its mark twice.

The Zoroark bystanders cheered as it struck Eve. It giggled as it pawed at its eyes, trying desperately to remove the sand, but it's movements looked to be difficult because of its injuries. "Ru ua, zor ru-a." "Or maybe, not so lucky."
