Zhu spreads his arms in welcome, and pulling back his flowing shirt to reveal his lack of weapons, save for a few Pokeballs. "Oh great Zoroark tribe, we come bearing no ill-will nor a thought of capturing a member of your clan unless it is wished." Suddenly realizing there may be a language barrier, Zhu asks Mystery to translate if necessary. "My name is Zhubayr El-Hashem, Prince of the Orre region. Standing beside me are my companions: Dante, Bill, Flynn, Isaac, and Shane. We are far from home, and we wish very much to return. We hope that by accepting your challenge, we will build a mutual relationship that will benefit both parties involved." He sighs, thinking he did an acceptable job at projecting his altruism. "With what trial do you entertain to present us?" |

Bill carefully studies the several totems, fetishes and other signs of tribal life, though he keeps well close to the group and only looks at them from a distance, not wanting to anger the Zoroark. He allows Zhu to introduce them, figuring that as a prince, he should have some social skills, or at least more than a himself. |

Flynn, deciding that keeping his mouth shut would be his best shot at not screwing things up, instead looks around at the Zorua and Zoroark of the village. After all, if there's one thing any good performer knows, it's how to read the mood of the crowd. He also indicates to Kurt that, if he wants to, he can go back in his pokeball - a village of dark-types shouldn't be too uncomfortable for him, but you never know. |

Isaac keeps his hands away from his blade, hoping to not draw attention to it unless a fight starts, and keeps his mouth shut. Zhu seems a lot more capable of talking to them than he would be, especially since they called him out on his capture of the Weedle before. Taking the opportunity to look around he tried to judge how many of them there are |

Eve lost her chance to respond to Mystery when the group upped and started off towards the Zoroark tribe, but she did give him a wink and promise to tell him everything later. As Zhu set about with his introductions, Dante took the time to look from his position at the Zoroarks and his surroundings. Eve was also keeping a wary pair of eyes on the Zoroarks, making sure they didn't try to sneak up on them all. |

Shane bends over and quickly gives Mystery some instructions. He nods and steps up next to Zhu, barking out some fine translations of what the prince is saying. As for Shane, he sets his sights on the surrounding Zoroarks, particularly the chief, and studies them closely. He pays attention to how they move their facial expressions, insignias of rank, etc. Anything that would give him a hint as to how they operated and how to better influence them. The Alpha Zoroark seems utterly bored with Zhu and Mystery's talking. "Aaark. Ark!," he says, holding up his hand for silence. Translation for Mystery Looking about, a large number of Zoroark congregating around you, though it's difficult to get an accurate count, especially considering they can turn invisible. A number of small pups are padding at their feet as well. All of them are watching your party keenly, and they appear to be of different castes. Many of the males wear crude chestplates of bone or wood that hang around their necks. The female Zoroarks, though, are less garbed and tend to have the Zorua pups close to them. This is just a general observation, however, and it not universal. By the glint in their eyes it appears that many of them are out for blood, and the only thing holding them back is their respect for their Alpha. The Alpha Zoroark himself seems extremely powerful despite his age (Level 70). He is well composed, though Serious. As befits his race, he is a master Magician and lord of Illusion, but he is also quite full of Pride and he appears utterly Vicious. The stone behind him is carved with what appears to be some form of writing, but it would take quite some time to try and decipher it. The Alpha begins to speak, pointing out a number of glyph and pictures on the obelisk. "Zoroark. Zor zoro, zoro ark," he points at Isaac's belt here, specifically at one of his pokeballs, "Ark, ark zoroark, ark ark zor." The pictures are crude, much like cave drawings. The first figure shows what appears to be a tribe of Zoroark living amongst tall grass and forests. The next picture shows a stick figure that resembles a human wearing a hat moving through the grass. A third picture shows the man ambushed by a Zoroark. Next there are two pictures. The first shows a man on his knees, begging, his hat at his side as he is set upon by a pack of Zoroark. The second image shows the man, wearing his hat, standing triumphant, holding a pokeball above his head that seems to emit light. Translation for Mystery

"Huh...really hard t' make out. Must be far from home," Mystery says, "Seems that we're trespassin' on something. Yeah, they're going to want to fight our 'champions'." He looks apologetic. "If I may make a suggestion, we should do as they say. We're kinda caught here." |

"Fight our champions?" Dante repeated, not liking where this was going. That Leader looked way stronger than all of them combined. Chances were the Zoroarks were also stronger than their party as well. Eve moved forward, standing between the Zoroark and her trainer, trying to act a lot braver and tougher than she felt right now. {I'm his Champion, fight me. Just leave Dante alone.} |

Bill curses in a ancient language not really spoken for centuries as he hears what Mystery translates. "This is not good. Could you do me a favor and say exactly what the Zoroark said, as much as possible. It may just meen a difference in life and death if we know exactly why we are trespassing and what is expected of us." |
