The ground had began to show its wrath and Isaac wasn't used to that, coming from a fairly calm area where the true danger was the wildlife. Looking around he was glad that this was the spot that they chose to set up camp since it seemed to be one of the more stable places in the distance.

"Well at least we can feel safer here tha" Isaac was quickly cut off as the second quake started. Unsure of whether he was going to fall or not he shouted out to Lolth "Hit me with your web girl! Keep me steady!"

He reached his arm towards his partner as he attempted to brace himself on the unsteady ground

After the first tremor, Dante is still standing, although Isaac was knocked down during the peak of the first quake. The aftershock, however, sends both of them sprawling. As the second quake hits, the sudden jerking of the buckling ground nearly sent Isaac tumbling down the hill. If not for the quick thinking of Lolith, snagging him with a spray of webbing, he would've plunged into the flow.

As the ground shakes and shudders beneath them, their hilltop is suddenly illuminated by a pillar of pale blue light. The light is blinding, casting everything in a blue-tinged hue, and arcs of lightning play painlessly across those illuminated. A deep thrumming noise begins to build, low at first, then loud enough to drown out the earthquake in its entirety. The sound builds and builds, and with it the light enveloping you builds in intensity until the only things you can perceive are the blinding blue light and the thrumming noise. Then, suddenly, you lose consciousness.

((This concludes the prologue! Chapter I will begin shortly, and with it, I need a perception and survival check.))
