| Berserker and [+HP]; This boon seems counter-intuitive | |

The Berserker is a great class but the [+HP] aspect of the moves bothers me somewhat. Due to their mechanics revolving around injuries, they seem to be the one class in the game where putting stats on Hit Points is the least effective option. Right out of the bat, they gain less benefit from the HP themselves by being injured (With 1 Injury they are getting an effective 2.7 Hit Points per point of HP, up to an effective 1.5 HP with 5+ injuries) but more importantly, with enough injuries they can't even heal their Hit Points which puts a significant emphasis on the need for actual mitigation (Defensive stats) over damage absorbing (HP). It just seems weird to saddle the class with stat point gains in the least relevant stat for them. Has anyone else given this any thought and come to the same conclusions? |

Well I see it as a flavor thing. They get HP because their strength lies in their ability to endure |

Also, while they do gain power with injuries, as a class that has little choice but to rush into combat, they do need to have enough HP to stay alive |

You actually get the full 3 HP per stat as long as you have 5 or more injuries because with Fight On and On, you go down on -50% so your HP bar becomes "50% to -50%", a 100% nonetheless. Having higher HP also let you benefit from Push it to the Limit's tick recovery. PittL also provides healing to the Berserker so they can actually heal themselves despite the heavy injuries. |

Fair points all around! Except for the last one. As best I can tell, PittL doesn't heal the Berserker. |

Oh right, temporary HP isn't healing. |

But it does keep them temporarily more alive, which is decidedly a good thing. |
