Some other things I'm considering testing for my next campaign:

-removing medic training as an edge and just letting anyone with untrained or higher medicine apply it to allies without them forfeiting their turn. This always seemed like a super weird edge tax to make restoratives even viable.

-remove Arcane training as a pre req to use Arcane moves

-do something to make psychic residue easier to detect since right now it only interacts with other psychics

-remove the limit on skill improvement stating that you can only raise a skill if it's at a species average or lower

A small one is that Legendary pokemon can use their signature moves at EoT or Every Third turn frequency. The frequencies listed in the book are for other things that happen to get a hold of those moves.

I made a big change in my game with friends. I remade the type chart, pre fairy type. The types that seemed logical to interact got an interaction. Exceptions on immunities were made. Pure steel type being immune to electric attacks while non-pure steel aren't (Faraday's cage-thinking) being one example. The group is unaware of the looks of the type chart and has to learn it as the game progresses. I thought this would be fair since 1 of the players hadn't played pokémon before.

A few pokémon has type changes and some even has three types, like Charizard being a fire/dragon/flying.

Evolutions have been changed. Stones can help any pokémon evolve as long as the stone is reasonable to use on the pokémon in question. Stone evolutions messes with the pokémon's personality and loyalty. Pokémon with stone restrictions have gotten other restrictions. The stated levels for evolutions are guidelines and the actual evolving is more like the animated series.

There is no PC system for storing pokémon (more of a thematic change than a general rule). All pokémon need to be taken care of in some way, be it by the trainer or someone else. Having a lot of pokémon with you takes from your food storage and/or the hoarded money.

While for flavor a lot of these seem nice, in the end they feel like they may be unnecessarily complicated. That's just my opinion mind you. This is obviously your ruleset and you are 100% capable of using it, but I want to give my two cents on things quick. I have a day off and I'm pretty much just perusing the Forums at this point.

I'm normally pretty against changing of the Type Chart when possible, not because our current Type Chart is inherently balanced, but because everyone has a different opinion when it comes to how it should and should not be balanced, and thus creating more than at best 1 or 2 new Interactions can REALLY throw players for a loop then if they ever join a game ran by anyone else but you. Having to wrap your brain around 2-5 potential variations of the current Type Chart can be immensely straining for a Player over the years, especially if you're ever in more than one game at once.

Triple typing is also one of those things that sound neat, but really throw Type Interactions for a loop which can add another layer of complexity to the game, which might not entirely be worth it as a tradeoff. It's not quite as simple as Dual Typing to think up Weakness and Resistance on the fly, in fact I just spent about 5 minutes thinking up several of the setups for that Charizard you gave alone, as opposed to 1 or 2 tops I'd probably spend if you gave me something Dual Typed instead, which can increase the amount of time combat takes unless a Player has the Pokemon in their own party and thus remembers the Type Interaction for said Triple Type.

The Evolution Rule in my opinion really just adds a reason to not evolve your pokemon, especially with Stones, why would I risk my Pokemon becoming less loyal and turning into a jerk if I can just use Underdog tactics and get pretty close to the same scenario? On top of that, Evolutionary Stones are supposed to be immensely rare AND expensive, adding more prerequisites to Evolve seems, again, a bit needlessly complex to me.

The lack of a PC system feels like it's more punishing players for having more than 6 Pokemon than anything, if a Player is using a Capture Specialist Class I doubt they'd really want to stop at 6 Pokemon and be forced to spend EXP to retcon or have 1 super useless Class forever, or they have to hope to have a massive windfall and take care of it themselves. Even the average player I've found in a game ends up with more than 6, as they have a few Pokemon that they swap out later once they get their dream team up and running. This method creates a bit of a hard choice for a lot of players: do I catch this Pokemon and be forced to release it entirely/care for it when I won't use it, or do I put myself at a disadvantage for an extended period until I find the Pokemon on my dream team?

Don't get me wrong here: for flavor, these are some REALLY neat ideas which add a bit of a layer of realism to your world, but mechanically they seem to just add complexity where it's not needed, if you ask me.

And another note I had in the shower to go with one of my previously stated Houserules on Evasion: All moves have their -2 AC, that's good, cuts down on Whiffing late game on Pokemon who have literally no Investment in Evasion bar their Stats.

But this does hurt builds who focus heavily on Evasion, so I came up with the idea: Make Evasion's Hard Cap 11 instead of 9. This still creates a scenario where Evasion-heavy Builds can still hit their relatively similar levels of Evasion compared to before the Houserule was introduced, with only a minor amount more Investment (Instinct+Double Team can easily create 3 rounds of +4 Evasion, that's 10 Evasion right there!).

Except for: Dig, earthquake and magnitude
Most ground moves hit flying types but are resisted. Levitate does this as well but it's treated as just resisted.

6 level up moves and 6 tm, tutor and or egg moves.

When falling you fall 20 feet per turn when free falling. Thrown or spiked is between 30 to 40.
Spread out or make a makeshift parachute, fall 10 feet per turn.

When playing as a pokemon char you can 1 of two things.

Spoiler: click to toggle

Getting injured!
Spoiler: click to toggle

Also have a system for figuring out what the wild pokemon you catch has.

Spoiler: click to toggle

And of coarse in roll 20 i made a full system for catching pokemon during the week so not to take up game time.

Spoiler: click to toggle

Other then that I guess the gen house rules is that you can choose to do a pure luck roll using a d20 on some things. Example: "Does this car have keys in it? *decides to do a pure luck roll rathen then any skill checks* *gets a nat 20* the car not have keys in it, but does have a robot butler and it's mistaken you for the owner of the car.

I have a player who is a martial artist, and goes around combating other martial artists in single combat to test his mettle. I saw the "Wrestlemania" martial achievement and was severely disappointed that the only real purpose it seemed to serve is crowd control, so i decided to tweak grapples a little. now guts martial artists are able to either use vital throw or circle throw as a grapple action (Pokemon may do so as well, but they are also allowed to use storm throw) when doing so vital throw can be used regardless of being attacked or not, and the other two become "never miss" moves. using any of the throw moves also disengages the grapple.
