So Starters, being a first evo, are common? Along with things like Dratini and Larvitar?

Correct. If the GM does not like their generated Pokemon they can change them by clicking the refresh button on the List Screen.

How come there isn't an option to generate wild pokemon found in caves?

Hi Downloaded your program so far Love it. Just had a question about your damage calculation. In the Pdf for PTU 1.05
"Damage Formula
Putting this all together, the process for calculating
damage is as follows:
1. Find initial Damage Base
2. Apply Five/Double-Strike
3. Add Damage Base modifiers (ex: STAB) for final
Damage Base
4. Modify damage roll for Critical Hit if applicable
5. Roll damage or use set damage
6. Add relevant attack stat and other bonuses
7. Subtract relevant defense stat and damage reduction
8. Apply weakness and resistance multipliers.
9. Subtract final damage from target’s Hit Points and
check for Injuries or KO."
I thought I'd better chip in and correct this a little bit. Double Strike and Apply Five don't work the same.
Double Strike is applied after STAB - it even has an example of a Double Kick with DB 5 on both kicks (Double Kick is ordinarily DB 3).

Great tool Hariku, thanks for providing it! I can't donate currently, but I wanted to provide some feedback at least.

There's a small bug in the program if it can't find any Pokemon that meet the criteria (I think), for example, if you select the Rainforest biome, and check only 'rare' Pokemon, when you go to generate, it throws a null pointer exception. Seems to continue working fine though, aside from not generating anything. I would love the option to select multiple biomes as well!

Update 1.03: Added the cave biome to the habitat list.

Because we hate caves so much that we didn't want them in our program. We then realized how dumb that would be and fixed it.

We are currently looking into this current issue, it seems like an easy fix but we are still currently taking classes so most of our time is occupied. Classes will end for us in about a month so we will be able to ramp up production. In the meantime just ignore the error.

For the biomes suggestion; we have discussed this possibility but thought against it because players can't be in multiple biomes at once. If there is enough of a demand we will give the option, however.

No worries, just wanted to help out.

For the biomes thing, my thoughts were if you were on the border of two biomes, or were in a map comprising of several biomes (marshy wetlands, lakes/ponds, forest, grasslands).

I've got a suggestion, if you're willing to hear it.
I'd really like to be able to save encounters, it would make it a lot easier to plan battles out beforehand.
I have no experience with coding, so i have no idea how hard it would be, but if you could possibly save the encounters as a file you can open in PQE, i think it wouldn't be too hard.

We are always happy to hear suggestions, and we appreciate them immensely.
This is a very possible thing to do and something that we will add to our to do list. We are also planning to add a way to have encounters more specific allowing users to choose exactly which pokemon to fight with. This lets users create more personal encounters while still having the program do the dirty work.
