Link to the modded sheet: Goliathus' Modded Fancy PTU 1.05 Sheet.

Credit goes to the original makers of the Fancy PTU Sheet 1.05, I am merely making minor adjustment on the sheet. Here are the list of new features and changes:
  • Pokemon Template
    • Fully Functional Automatic Animated Sprite Searcher
      • Pokemon sprite of all shape and form - Shiny, Female, Mega(including those of ORAS), Form(like Sawsbuck seasonal changes), Nidoran M/F - are all automated as long as you provide the correct data. Instruction are available as note on each of the respective square.
    • Automatic Pokemon Skill Update

      • Pokemon skill are automatically updated with the correct data. There's a note on the "Pokemon Skill" bar on the correct input for Edu: Technology and Edu: Pokemon.
      • Pokemon gains +1d6 and +2 on two different skills after going through an evolution. Slots to insert such data have been made. Held item's description has a bigger space now due to the layout adjustment. Some of the longer description of a held item still can't be displayed fully though, so if you really care about that, feel free to give even more rows to the description space.
      • The Skill Improvement edges are automated as well.
    • Minor Layout Changes
      • I have replaced the scene XP segment(which I personally have never use it so far) with a Loyalty square and also provide the Pokemon's weight and height in both metric and imperial system.
      • I have also added a "Training" segment below "Picture" to replace the "Note" segment as I find myself noting down what training my Pokemon has gone through more than anything else.
  • Combat
    • Weapon DB and AC
      • Insert number on the square right of "DB Mod" and "AC Mod" and the Struggle attack's DB and AC will be adjusted accordingly.
      • Do note that the AC+2 of off-hand weapon isn't technically right. It's just easier on the sheet. "Accuracy Roll -2" is the technical answer.
    • Expanded Move Slots

      • I have added a slot for off-hand weapon's struggle attack. Also, I have allocate 3 slots on the bottom of the move list for weapon move of both main hand and off-hand weapon. Weapon DB and AC are automatically included in the 3 slots.
    • Adjusted Layout
      • Personally, I don't like long description texts stretching out the whole row of a sheet and spoiling the look of the layout so I have changed the position of some things. For instance, I have swapped the "Equipment" segment and "Abilities" segment in the "Combat" page because some abilities texts are so long that they stretched the left side(basic information, HP and stats) out too much for my taste.
    • Throwing Masteries
      • Throwing Range is automatically updated to give a +2 if you have Throwing Masteries.
  • Pokedex
    • Numbered Pokedex
      • I miss the numbering of the 1.04 Pokedex so I put back the number for immersion.
  • Inventory
    • Enhanced inventory page
      • Shamelessly plugged from Wile E's sheet. Now, there are more categories for items.

Goli, I don't think Off-hand weapons get any DB bonuses. I think Off-hand weapons just allow for another move and a bit more variety, unless a dev has said something definitive about it. >_> All in all, it does look pretty good, though it could be tweaked visually to leave less awkward space; it DOES take ages to get everything looking just right, though, so I understand if you wanted to focus more on the coding than the design.

Data validation for the drop-down lists on the original sheet might be a VERY good idea as well, especially for the more specific things that you mention in notes, like skill names. It'll help prevent any confusion and especially help people who aren't too familiar with the GoogleDocs sheets. I mean, you can see that we use it a LOT on the Fancy sheet, and it does seem to help.

And for future reference, the "Notes" box was primarily put on there for things like Shiny differences or Baby info that couldn't easily be expressed anywhere else - e.g. "Learns Dizzy Punch at 25" or "Baby template removed at Level 10" - along with anything else people wanted to add, such as personality quirks or story-related info. I'd still recommend having somewhere for notes like that, but it's your call.

Notes are something you can just add to any cell though. I don't think it's really necessary to have a separate spot--you can just tag that on the nickname or something, or on the 'shiny' box.

That's fine for LITTLE notes, or if you don't mind scattering how your pokemon is shiny all over the place, but I do prefer to have everything in one neat little area, easily-visible with plenty of space so it doesn't look squished. Plus, if you still have a fairly significant amount of empty space after snugly fitting everything together, it's great for using up that extra space while being useful. ;3

But this chat is supposed to be about Goli's sheet, not the merits of a Notes box, so back on topic.

Pika, to clarify the Off-Hand weapon thing, you can choose to attack with your Off-Hand weapon instead of your Main Hand, and it will use the modifiers from the Off-Hand instead. You're thinking of just having two weapons, which gives no bonus in it of itself.

I will note that Throwing Masteries does not technically grant a general Throwing Range boost, which is why I opted not to include that in our sheet, but otherwise looks good at a glance.

@HeadPikachu
From what I read, the only penalty for an off-hand weapon is no Master move and -2 to Accuracy Roll. I assumed the DB is still intact but I have directed the question to the general Q&A.

Good point on the data validation. I will do something about that later. Maybe adding a place for note if I can make it fine visually.

@Pandora
I thought about the Throwing Range thing as well before I do that. Based on the RAW of Throwing Range, Throwing Range determines how far a trainer can throw Pokeball and other small items. Throwing Masteries gives +2 range to Pokeball, Ranged Weapon and other small items, which to me, is everything Throwing Range covers. But I can understand based on the wording of Throwing Masteries, it doesn't said "capabilities".

My players and I noticed that the Inventory page tries to pull information from some wonky page and gives the wrongest of information. I changed the Data Validation to pull from an Inventory Items tab, and made said Inventory Items tab. At current it has Pokeballs, Medicine/Food, Berries and TM/HMs set to auto fill.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0At5Iw0fPxAKvdHVldFdnRHplZEZMZjNqclZlQUY5WXc#gid=54

For some reason the data validation seems to have been changing when my players copied inventory tab over to their sheets. It tries to pull from their particular pokemon's sheets. My current theory is that it is because they don't copy the Inventory Items tab over before the Inventory tab, but its pretty simple to switch the Data Validation to what its supposed to be in any case.

No idea if this was something you were working on already or not. Hopefully it serves to be a bit helpful in some way though.

I found an issue that when I copied the sheet over for testing it, the drop down menu has gotten all messed up. Whenever I open any such drop down menu in any tab, it always opens a second tab with all the pokeballs. Pressing the options in this second menu doesn't do anything, but it singles out whatever one you pressed and a window of it sits up in the top corner doing nothing. It makes the whole thing really wonky and undesirable to use, which is sad since I think your additions to the sheet are great and I would love to exchange my current sheet with it.

EDIT: Hold on, something's odd here. I exited the sheet and went back in to check something, and then it was working fine and that strange issue wasn't happening anymore. So I guess I'll be able to use it, even though I have no idea what was causing that problem before.

Sorry for the lack of reply and update here. I am currently working on the second version of the mod but it has been slow.

@DavidHilm
It's definitely helpful. I have added an auto inventory page to the second version and I will definitely be crediting you for the idea.

@Peldms63
I think that's a problem of Google Docs as I have experienced that as well. I find that waiting for the sheet to load completely before doing anything helps on the issue. Also, I find that picking items from the dropbox instead of clicking "enter" after you typed out what you want also helps with the issue. I get the same issues many time because I like using the "enter" method although I have tried it a few times now and the error doesn't occur at all, so what do I know.

Where on the sheet would I add the +5 base HP from an HP Focus?
I just changed the Base HP from 10 to 15, and it seems to work fine with the calcs, but it that where you're intended to add focuses?
