Well, let's see.

My trainer's starter was a male Ralts that recently evolved into Fairy/Fighting typeshifted Gallade. He has always been super sensitive about being improperly identified as a girl, and as such spent a good portion of his time as a Kirlia overcompensating with testosterone fueled antics. He's super close to my character, to the point of being a bit overprotective and a bit possessive, but this stems partially from the fact that she has repeatedly gotten into situations where she was in very real danger of dying (getting temporarily turned into a ghost after nearly dying was a big one), and he wasn't in a position to help much. He's the archetypal Knight in Shining Armor, moreso with the retained Fairy typing.

There's my character's Pawniard who has a complex about being made of knives due to the fact that he can't really be hugged or picked up by his trainer. She tends to be very physically affectionate with her pokemon, and he's been sort of left out in the cold until recently when she received a chainmail shirt she ordered specifically so that she could play with him without getting cut to ribbons. He cried oily tears.

Parasect is an interesting sort of pokemon that for some reason does not talk. Even in the scenes we've done where we play our pokemon, the Parasect does not seem capable of communication, though she can manage gestures to show her wants. Oh, and she recently typeshifted into Fairy/Grass, the bug part of her replaced by what looks like a Snubbull. Before this change, we had needed to take her to the Pokecenter because the bug portion of her had looked extremely malnourished, despite having adequate food. She seems to enjoy sleeping on the heads of the trainers in our party, and spends her off time planting mushrooms, which my trainer helps her with.

One of the PCs in our party is an Agent of the Pokemon League who has an Eevee with Charm at a fairly high rating, and a James Bond style personality that mostly manifests in him hitting on most of the other pokemon in the party, including the exceedingly pretty Gallade.

Something new cropped up in Slytherclaw's Geode Game. Before the transition to 1.05 I evolved a Lickitung into a Lickilicky with the help of our resident Mentor.

Said Lickitung, if it's out of it's ball, will now sit in front of anything resembling a counter or table in any establishment it's trainer enters, and look expectantly at the person working there, regardless of what kind of shop/establishment/home. If it isn't fed, it gets up in a huff and storms off. If it is fed, it showers everyone nearby in it's praise (and spit).

Let me tell you a story about Dusknoir.

One of my party members was able to catch a level 63 Dusknoir on an INSANELY lucky capture check. Mind you the rest of the party's pokemon hadn't quite broken level 20 yet, so it refused to listen to his commands in battle. However, this doesn't at all mean it didn't love him. In fact, it loved him so much that whenever it was let out of it's pokeball, it would shriek with joy (which sounded creepy as hell apparently) and proceed to pick up and throw into the air the trainer closest to it like a parent playing with a small child. This would go on for a few minutes, and there were even a few scenes where an entire conversation was carried out during his revelry. The only problem with this otherwise funny occurrence was that he always threw you high enough that if you happened to be indoors you would probably (most likely) hit the ceiling.
