Thanks! I don't want this topic to end, so maybe I can post another one of my Pokemon's personalities. Hrm... Like I said, pretty much all of my Pokemon are characters unto themselves. I've written about one of my purchased Pokemon, Glass Joe the Infernape, and that was a fun time. But who else can I talk about? I should write something new, if I want to keep this topic afloat. Hmmm.... ...Let's talk about Kerria. I'm going to put this in Spoiler tags, because it ended up, uh, kinda long. Now then. My pokeymans: let me show you them! Spoiler: click to toggle

My character in one game is cute pokemon-protecting chronicler/mentor. She have Phantump named Groot. And well, he is Groot... and is not. He is aggresive, sometimes to point of absurd. At one point there were doors we had to get through. His solution? Tackle -> Tackle -> Tackle -> Astonish -> Tackle. While way was open after two attacks. Then he danced on them. First combat in game. He used Astonish, then Tackled Poliwag away. Then he screamed his own name (in pokespeak) and... danced. Later there were big flowers. Turned out wild pokemon sometimes stored stuff in them. Groot found berry and apricorn. Yep, he took them and went back to trainer while dancing with stuff on top of his stump. Speaking of giant flowers, they met them earlier. Both rolls for general knowledge failed. My char sniffed them, Groot... tackled his flower few times before moving on. He don't worry too much about damage reiceved in battle, as he is bit too confident about his Ingrain health restore. He also have softer side - especially for Polly, the Poliwag (not same he beated, but from same breed probably) And last feature - he have interesting bond with his trainer. They both care for each other, but initially he followed her for revenge (she fell on him while exploring forest). Instead of shaking her when she is asleep he like to hit her to wake up (narcolepsy). Still, he will do really much to protect his naive trainer. |

One of my players has a Drifloon. We all nickname him "Secret Agent 'Floon", because of his investigative prowess, his ability to make small objects (especially food items) vanish into thin air when no one is looking, and his tendency to feign stupidity when questioned about anything. |

Following up on Slytherclaw's previous story regarding the Sewaddle and the Solosis. The Sewaddle was the survivor of a forest fire, and had lost most of her little outfit. Her trainer managed to gather enough leaves from the scorched mess for the Pokemon to make a new outfit from the slightly charred plant matter. A black leafed Sewaddle was born. This prompted another one of our players to do a recolor of the sprite, and put it on Gotham as a backdrop. Batsewaddle was born. She was named Katherine Cain after Batwoman, and frequently uses her Threaded capability to keep mobile. When Signature Technique became an option for her trainer, Razor Leaf became Leafarangs using the Scattershot modification. Just recently Egg Tutor was made available to us, and she gained Camouflage, which also netted her the Blender capability. Katherine opposes the evil Doctor Doomosicorn (the other player's Solosis, now a Duosion) who fears small dogs, and has an insatiable lust for berries. Such is his desire, that he once stole forty entire berries! That's four tens, and that's just awful. |

Compressing Batman, Fantastic Four, and Superman into one paragraph. I'm legitimately impressed. Probably a 4th too, if I knew what the 'fear of small dogs' was referencing. |

Yeah. The Pomeranians that the old woman kept got left behind after she died. It's implied that one of them ate the other one to survive. |

In a game that I'm currently in, I'm playing a Hypnotist(Psychic Ace with a pendulum weapon that casts hypnosis when used) who has a particular Kirlia.... Her name is Sunako, she's a Ghost/Psychic Kirlia ( apparently died of neglect from a previous trainer,) and has become very attached to her trainer. So attached in fact that she becomes incredibly jealous towards any other pokemon that he uses. Being ghost type, she pops up even out of combat, sneaking up behind her trainer and wrapping her arms around him possessively. The other players have joked that with his kirlia being such a yandere type, she might even attack other NPCs that get too chummy. |
