Oh yeah. I just thought of something myself. If Groudon gets Heat Crash or Heavy Slam? |

I would support this entirely, there are very few things that Primal Groudon doesn't outweigh by double or more, those things pretty much being Dialga and Giratina. 252+ Atk Primal Groudon Heavy Slam (40 BP) vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Dialga in Harsh Sunshine: 118-141 (29.2 - 34.9%) -- 100% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery, Fire Typed to show Heat Crash. That's the only Defensive setup that my calculator gives me for Dialga, so I'm guessing that full Defensive sets aren't overly common. Either way unless you have a Double Resistance, or your name is Lugia, Dialga, or Giratina, Heat Crash on Primal Groudon would bring the pain. More commonly than not it'd be hitting for 80-120 BP on just about everything over 40 BP, so you'd run into THIS more often than anything: 252+ Atk Primal Groudon Heavy Slam (120 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Mew in Harsh Sunshine: 297-351 (73.5 - 86.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery So basically Heat Crash on Primal Groudon would be a strict upgrade over what it currently runs for Physical Fire STAB: Fire Punch. How about if Chansey could get Sunny Day and Sunlight/moonlight? It would have a 100% health recovery move. This isn't a new set, but my Shedinja set has wrecked teams, Focus Sash, Toxic, Dig, Phantom Force, and Protect. I have beaten a Rhyperior and a Golem with this set, as well as Mega Banette, and a regular Sableye. |

Synthesis/Moonlight/Morning Sun in Sun is 66% since Gen 3. The set-up time and limited duration mean that Chansey is generally just better with Softboiled over having to carry an additional move. |

Okay. I see your point, I guess it's just that i always used it when at 1/3 health or higher when it was Sunny. How about Sylveon with Explosion. It's scary on Glalie, it'd be scary with Sylveon or Mega Pinsir. How about Honedge and others with that ability, and give them any of the instant KO moves |

Chansey with Will-O-Wisp would be pretty good. It's main drawback is it's poor defense (and horrible attack, but oh well), and being able to halve the opponents attack stat would be pretty awesome. Also, Kangaskhan with Superfang would be deadly. Bulbapedia says that it can quarter the opponents HP in one hit. Return or Sucker Punch should be able to KO anything other threat in the game. |

Sylveon wouldn't be that great with Explosion, due to its generally poor attack stat. No Guard OHKO users? There's a reason that in Smogon's 'Balanced Hackmons' tier, No Guard is banned, and that's because they're OVERPOWERED. |

No Guard Sheer Cold Scarfed Deoxys-S was the bane of Hackmons for quite some time. Yes, you read that right. I think Super Fang Mega Mom would be redundant when it can undeniably 2HKO all but 15-20 competitively viable Pokemon with Seismic Toss anyways. You need 99 Base HP or more with max investment to survive 200 flat damage twice in a row, and need 123 base HP or more to survive a 2HKO with zero investment. Edit: The following list excludes Ghost Types for obvious reasons. Pokemon that require NO HP Investment to survive a Parental Bond Seismic Toss 2HKO (this gets slightly smaller in Level 50 fights where HP formulas make things do 1-3% more damage overall) Pokemon that require some if not FULL HP Investment to survive a Parental Bond Seismic Toss 2HKO (this gets slightly smaller in Level 50 fights where HP formulas make things do 1-3% more damage overall) And even then, on both Showdown and on the PSS, a LOT of these Pokemon are either flat-out banned (Zekrom, Mewtwo, Xerneas, etc), or just plain and simple aren't viable where Mega Mom is allowed to roam free (Wailmer, Tropius, Happiny, etc). You can see how Parental Bond Seismic Toss Mega Mom is kind of a monster. Edited by TM93, Jun 19 2015, 06:42 AM.
